    Best video on Caye Caulker ever. Because it went slow. Music brilliant too.

    Second comment. Just got back from another two weeks in Belize since 5/'19 including 3 days in Caye Caulker. It's cool to have been right across from where my favorite video begins getting the exit covid test. We stayed in the Caye Reef, the front street yellow building where the song with the prominent sax solo begins a few steps from the split. Caye Caulker!Wonderful!

      how lucky you are to be able to go there easily. I agree, this island marks the spirits, it is not the most beautiful that we have seen during our travels, and yet it leaves unforgettable memories! thank you for your comment

    Put your phone close and ask Google "what song am I listening to?" and it'll display the song/album. Nice mix of a few artists.

    What a difference time makes. I was there in 1980 and it was just a few buildings, palm trees, Sandy trails and loads of land crabs.

    I walked, biked and golf carted every inch of that island loved every single thing about it. I cant wait to go back the locals are more friendly than the tourist. Place is booming new bussiness every where. Belican Stout. and belican premium are my favorites.

    Great tour. I was bummed you didn't show the nicest Building on the entire island,. Here's the view, you walked right past it. Next to the Belize Dive Service. A 4 story gem. Its at the 1:08:57 mark on the right.

    I was in Caye Caulker in 1994. It's the first time that I see it since, noce to see it. It changed a lot and didn't change at the same time. There is a lot more buildings, but the vibe seems to be the same. I was staying at The Tropical Paradise, it's part of the things that didn't change at all! Same sing, same colors... But I dont remember that there was a cemetery just beside, either it's new or my memory forgot that detail.

    Is this a main road? We are going on a cruise in december and will be taking a water taxi to Caye Caulker. What would you recommend as a good main road to walk along? Also, can we rent bikes there?

    • @VirtualTrip
      @VirtualTrip  6 лет назад +1

      yes of course you can rent bike, golf car but the best is just to walk!!! the village from south to north is only 2km!!all the roads are like in the video, only sand!!

  • @buddhaplayer1737

    Curious if this walk was early in the morning....hence why everywhere is closed?

    • @VirtualTrip

      Virtual Trip thank you. We’re going with a large group of 16, just for a day while our cruise ship is docked in Belize City. We are hoping there will be places open to eat, have some drinks and relax by and in the water. We’ll be there on a Thurs mid July from 10am-4pm. 🌴☀️🍹

    • @VirtualTrip
      @VirtualTrip  6 лет назад +1

      hello buddha bo, yes it should be fine, at that period there will be lot of tourists and everything will be open!! there is one dab in the north part of the village.From the jetty to the Split, you'll have only a 15 min walk and at the end you'll find "the split" with two bars and place to swim..have a good trip!!

    • @buddhaplayer1737

      Virtual Trip thanks for the info! We booked a trip that is 1/2 a day snorkeling with Stressless Eco Friendly Tours and the other 1/2 the day on the island.

    I actually could have done without the music. Hearing the real sounds of the place would be nice. Wind, ocean, people talking, ya know....immersion.
