Well, aside from this being a retelling of Mavis’ first two stories, you sure did a great job at putting James at the beginning, considering the trials he’d have to endure in “James and the Diesel Engines”. Anyway, can’t wait to hear how Victor takes over as the new BoCo next time around.
i had an interesting idea for another back story for a popular character, Fergus. The reason he sticks by the rules is because in his young days he was so careless that one day he almost fell off the side of a cliff after derailing that scared him straight
It's added with more twist like how she was acquainted with Percy and Toby, how Henrietta got a spot of dialogue, and Bertie got dialogue unlike the TV series during Mavis' holdup.
Nicely done I love the different pov aspect of this and how you mixed it up with Toby's tightrope :) nicely done as always and I really enjoy the voice actors in this one (both Toby and mavis)

Matts has improved since Toby’s NWR Origins ep, and Mika was just great as Mavis! Excited for BoCo’s episode, which will sadly be the last of this season, but all good things must come to an end I suppose.
Good job for getting the history of Tramway Engines correct this time around from what the wiki states 1962, and I never did understand why it took place in this time. It's Awdry's last book yet it takes place between Gallant Old Engine and Stepney the Bluebell Engine. It's not a problem, but it messes up the order the books were written in. Maybe Tramway Engines should've been the first Gunvor and Peter Edwards book, and with his mighty power Duke the Lost Engine should've been the last. It would mean Ghost Train and Woolly Bear would've had to air between the Daisy For Hire three-parter and the Main Line Engines three parter.

In real life Mavis's basis replaced Toby's on the Wisbech & Upwell Tramway. I notice Mavis sounds like an English Electric Type 1 / Class 20 in some scenes; these would be a useful locomotive for a railway like the Ffarquahar branch with its 40mph speed limit and 1000hp engine.

I love how you used Daisy instead of Diesel, it fits with the whole "Diesel didn't know how to handle trucks but Mavis didn't know that" But it makes a little more sense with Daisy
As much as it is the remake of "Mavis" and "Toby's Tightrope", I like how you incorporate Daisy's role. It made me ask as to why Diesel replaced Daisy as "Mavis" would've been Daisy's role in Season 3.
This sentence is logical: She has cow catchers and side plates like Toby. Her side plates cloaked her wheels, side rods and counter weight which is behind the back wheel.
I'm glad the schedules of NWR Origins Season 2 gets quicker. Thomas1Edward2Henry3, it took long for you to animate those characters and use people to voice the characters more believable than believable.
Why do I get the vibe that the angry farmer was gonna tell Mavis to shove her train up her...whatever. I can't wait to see what the finale has in store.
