The whole movie took about three hours for me to get through. I had to take breaks, watch some of Andy’s interviews like these, and call my mother. It has been a long time since a performance has rattled me so.

Serkis's explanation of the character's backstory and motivation make him sound much more interesting than the information about him we're told in the actual film!
Serkis was brilliant in it though, of course. Big pitch for Bond villain.

It’s not a good film, Luther as a tv series is excellent, this film is poor. Serkis plays it like a funny baddie from Batman. Far too much stretching of the truth and a ridiculous story line

It wasn't as good as the original series, that is true, but to say there's far too much truth stretching is nonsense. If the Luther series was a 10/10, this movie is like an 8/10, it's still good
