Ada, I speak divine strength from the Lord upon your life.🙏 I had to subscribe to your channel after watching this video and you have said it all. Intelligent people like you will surely succeed in the UK, stay strong, stay focused and once you are settled, register your company/ self-employed contracts if not go into another care-related professional career path. Doors will open for you with your experience, knowledge, and positive attitude, and you will not regret it. Also, it is important to take short courses to upskill. God bless🙏
Awwwww, this made my day. Super amen to the prayers and thank you for your kind words. God bless you real good❤🙏
Stay strong beauitful
Thanks so much Ada. This is really an eye opener for those that are coming to the uk for care assistant job. Keep educating us on the good, the bad and the ugly side of this japa of a thing. May God bless you richly
Amen❤🙏 thanks for your kind words
Thankyou Ada for this information. I worked in domiciliary care during my masters and I will work Monday to Sunday during school break and I know what I went through. Well I can’t do that now that I have a son to care for.
Its well. Its not for the faint hearted❤
Thank you for sharing, ive been waiting for someone to post the truth about this job. Ive been doing it and its been killing me i had to leave it because it was extremely exhausting. Wasnt confident to make a video because i felt people were not going to believe me.
Please what was the process of changing?? i want to change employment and i have got a new sponsor but dont know how to go about my application
It's well with you, thanks God you moved on and find happiness that's the goal❤❤
Your sponsor supposed to help you out

Thank you so much my darling,I have sent your videos to a friend that wants to travel to UK..God is your strength dear❤
Amen🙏 thanks darling ❤
Wow, I can't thank u enough for this video, I am actually planning to migrate UK as a caregiver, all these hints are eye opener!
You are welcome ❤ congratulations
Wow! Am your keen follower!
Thanks for your raw updates
Thank you❤
Really sorry you experienced this, it's not easy but I'm glad you are pulling through💙
Oh yes darling ❤❤ am pulling through by Gods grace
Thank you for the counsel. God bless you.
I pray God heals you and grant you joy in your job. 🙏❤
Amen
I'm a black British and have done domiciliary care. You are very correct with this video about everything you spoke about. I also experienced the issues of full bladder twice.
Omo why black British going to do with Domiciliary??
@@josiemadziva9825 British people do care jobs too.. It isn't restricted to foreign people coming into the UK
Thanks so much ma.
May the Lord bless and strengthen you
❤🙏
Oh dear feeling tired to my bones just watching this, thanks Ada a lot to think about
You are welcome ❤
Just to add, I will be getting some bags too😊, thanks for the promo code.
Awwwww, thanks so much❤
Thanks so much for these insights
Welcome ❤
You’re right my sister. Domiciliary jobs can be tough. I used to walk in the rain, sometimes falling on slippery floors. Those with health issues think before you do Domiciliary care, I almost died due to walking too much. I’m glad I left Domiciliary.
Is true my sister
Chai, its well with you❤
😢😢 I feel your pain…Oh dear Lord please give us jobs that we will not end up regretting Amen…please do not let us to be put to shame Amen…ma may the Lord give you the strength to overcome as soon as possible ❤❤Amen..
Amen 🙏
Amen oooo
Wow!
My take is this, there's no job that is easy, worked in the hospital, taken care of a patient with Dimentia, hbp and diabetes. It wasn't easy. Sometimes I feel I should just leave the patient. It wasn't easy at all so I can relate but we have individual experiences, yes you heard me right! Individual experiences and it can be really overwhelming especially domiciliary caregiving,so you see the pay is not comessurate to the care given!
I will still come back to comment.
Nothing is easy dear. But domiciliary is not for the faint hearted. But we moveeeeeee
The Lord is your strength, thanks for sharing. This would help interested people make wise decision
Exactly
Thank you sister for this ❤
❤
thanks for sharing Ada kings, sending you huggs
Awwwww, thanks you❤
Sooo accurate! I trust God to make a new way for Mee 🙏
🙏❤
Thank you Ada! It's all true i only work for 2 months and gave up, it is hard we didn't have the transport and didn't get paid for mileage, try your luck guys, you might be lucky try care homes at least the hours are guaranteed if you find a good agency 🙏
Exactly, the hours in care home are gurantee. I pray for Gods grace
There is always a silver lining in this cloud. Remember the reason you embarked on this journey and know that the foreigner is always meant to have an open heaven under the grace of our Lord. Take heart e go beta. Learn the system and grow in self development. Capacitate yourself and grow and slowly but surely as the Lord lives you will enjoy that UK.
Ada kings. You have said it all about domiciliary care.
I have friends that do it. They are always complaining about body pain.
Exactly
Awwwww, thanks for your kind words dear❤ sure am enjoying the UK but this particular domiciliary care is something else but God lives.
Nevertheless, I am grateful for this info. God will bless you for your honesty
Amen🙏 thank you❤
Thank you very much Ada for this raw truth , sorry you are going through this dear but you didn't explain to us if we should look out for other jobs or something . I am talking about intending immigrants like us.
I will make more video, just watch this space
Thank uou Ada for this eye opener and congrats on your new job. Plsnhow do i jpin Tochi's group or do u also have a group? I will be willing to join. Am on a tier 4 looking for tier 2. Thanks
Yeah, I have a telegram group, check the description box for the link. Also check Tochi's description box for her link as well
God will surely heal you
It’s well with you Ada
Amen🙏
Wao so sorry Ma, God will strengthen you.
Amen🙏
You just said the whole truth about domiciliary care, most of us were not aware before coming
I swear, we were not informed
God will continue to strengthen you.
Amen🙏
You have said lt all, but their are somethings which you can't say on this yt, because of confidentiality, and only those who will come they will see the reality by themselves, stay blessed y dear, after your contract agreement is done you will find a good job.
Thank you❤
You are a very sincere and truthful.
Thank you❤
D lord is your strength thanks for the information
Welcome ❤
Thanks for this information, am adjusting my plans I never like this Dom care
If you see care home its better, if not come with it and you might be lucky
You speak the truth , domiciliary care is terrible
Very very terrible
If you sign anything just because you want to enter abroad , please get ready to endure and suffer whatever that you will see. Word of advice for immigrants to any abroad.
Its well❤
Thank you my sister for word advice I pray that God will help me when I get there.
It is well sis
Sorry, you are going through all this.
I pray they get things sorted in that aspect of care.
Exactly our prayer, domiciliary carers need to be well paid. Its the hardest
Thanks for opening my eyes or as you Nigerians put it shining my eyes🤣🤣🤣. I love you already(I'm straight🥰)
❤
You have opened my eyes 👁️ my captain
That's the goal❤
Thank you Ada 😊which one is the best care job would one choose?
Care home is better. But support worker in a mental home is best
I remember when I first started working in the Uk as a domiscilliary worker and I left my house 4:00 AM only to be returning back home around 1:00 am, I mean it guys !!! And guess what, when my hours was to be calculated, they calculated 10 hours for me 😢!!!. I regretted my life 💯💯💯
Hahahahah, its so crazy. Payment day will make you be like you have been playing all along
Hi ada ,after watching this video I was touched.
Awwwww❤
Please my sister my family need CSO,can you be of help am around Liverpool
Well, as for the medication 💊 whilst administering medications, you must watch the clint take the meds before you leave. So, the person who gives the meds has to take the blame.
Ok, thank you❤
Every word you have said is 100% true
It's well sis❤
Thank you for this video.
It's unfair for one to start working from 7 am to 10 pm but you are only paid when only you are with a resident.
Exactly the point!!!
Wow Ada, this is so touching watching, thanks for sharing
Thanks darling ❤
Thank you for this video
Welcome ❤
It's better going for Care set ups eg Nursing care homes, NHS, Learning Disabilities etc
At least you get paid full hours and monthly wages
Exactly the point
Honestly I want to relocate as a carer but the type of feedback that I am hearing from those people that are already there is so discouraging.
But other type of care jobs are they better.
Please take care.
Hey don't be discouraged. Domiciliary care is hard, healthcare Assistant is hard but there are some type of care which are really easy. Just look and read through the job description
Please dont be discouraged dear, it differs and company differs too❤
Exactly
Real mama..keep it real for your subscribers. The UK is a beautiful country but the people can stress you sometimes. It well learned
Thanks darling ❤
It is true what you said!
Especially when you don't drive. The next client complain of being late when the time you leave the 1st house is the same time you are supposed to be in second house !!🥲
I tell you, we moveeeeeee
DOMICILIARY CARE is a big no for me. I have never done it and am not ready to, even being a healthcare Assistant is too hard if you are not ready don't do it. There are easier care jobs in the UK to do but not offering sponsorship
Its well
Please name the easiest type of care
Pliz list the easiest once pliz
Please help us with the easier jobs
List it pls
Soon u will get a comfortable one... Nice piece
Thanks babe❤
Much love Ada
❤
Ada king you are so smart and pretty stay strong sis
Thank you ❤
Tank u very much Adaking
You are welcome ❤
Ada, please I have one unrelated question. What is your plugin for this UK weather? I mean your skin doesn't seem to be dark and not affected by the winter and UK cold. Please can you share your beauty plug? Which cream works for you, make I buy for myself abeg. My fresh fair fyn skin don dark finish and I am not finding it funny. I don buy all the creams for UK finish no one gree work. Even the ones from Naija that I normally use that work well, no work again here. Help a sister bicko nu if you get secret plug. Thank you
My sister, I no get beauty plug. I get good skin naturally ooooo
Thanks for the insight.
My question is , between care home and the NHS, which is the best place to start as an healthcare assistant?
Very heart broken you can get Visa sponsorship in the construction, manufacturing, oil sector, train transport sector etc, even when you already in the UK, everybody now must follow healthcare assistant, Nursing, and care giving, very painful 😣😣
NHS remains the best.
NHS anytime anyday but getting the job is the hard nut to crack
NHS is best. If you can get, its far better
Hmmmm this is serious oooo. I know Nigerians are strong but in this case no way for this oooo. May God always strengthens u and also will never allow ur home to be broken .
Amen ❤🙏
SO SORRY MY DEAR SISTER . GOD IS YOUR STRENGTH
Amen🙏
Thanks Ada kings very informative video. At what point are they suppose to give you the contract? Is it before you leave your country or when you arrive Uk?
Immediately you got the job
Would the contract be given before Cos?
@@glorymonye4745 good question
Tbh, some agencies are users. Imagine 6 hours for the whole month? Tufia!. Thank you Sis for putting this out here so that people will learn. Do not sign contract to come to UK to work dorm, just because you want to Japa. If you must come to work in dorm, make sure you're mentally and physically ready. Dormicillary job is a freaking stressful job
Ehhhh you’re here I’m your Subscriber and I also like your content
@@nanairoham thank you
Babe, you can say that one million times, I was not informed. It's not nice for a mother. Oh yes, the agencies are users, they just use people especially once they recruit you from overseas. Very very bad of them, taking advantage of people. But its well... we moveeeeeee. Thanks darling for your kind words❤
Thank you, she's a sweet soul
Thank you sis Ada....is there any difference amongst domicilliary care , health care assistance and care worker ...?
Healthcare assistant is the same as Care worker.
So as a Healthcare assistant/Care assistant, you can work in domiciliary care, Care homes, and Hospitals. Hope that helps?
They are all same , just that domiciliary means going from one home to another
Thanks fr d info , mama. How many hours does Support worker should work?
It depends on company. 48hrs maximum
@@AdaKings 48hrs per week right?
I envy ya'all .In US Africans are working up too 102hrs a week as caregiver 7-3p from there 4p-12a then weekend some work extra 8hrs or 16hrs.Many US caregivers/Africans are divorced
Omg
Omg!!! This is so hectic. May God help us all amen🙏
That means UK does not have work family balance. Is unfortunate. I have always worked in the community as a mental health support worker , I enjoyed the work and learnt my lesson.
No they do, that's why you need to sign a good contract and pray for a good employer
Uk does not have work family balance .That is Germany is far better than UK interms of quality of life, work family balance. Uk is a scam country and overhype by nigerians.
Hmmm, Thanks for your honesty
Welcome ❤
Wahoo, your company is very strict, mine , you can tell them you want to work certain days and hours . Even you want to work 30hrs they accept. Like it’s soo flexible . You can just wake up and say am not feeling well today. They will cancel that day shift for you . They told us pls call us if you need more shifts or less shifts . Wahoo. My company is sooo good. It is well oo. Am even thinking of going to nursing school because my work is soo flexible
My dear, this is what it's supposed to be!!! Like I mentioned in the video some companies are so good. Some of us are not lucky!! Am so happy for you. Please enjoy it while it lasts.❤
Kindly which agency did you apply with
@@Giftsheryl. not an agency
@@lolo683 kindly how did you apply and qualified
Were you brought to UK by your company?
Did you sign any contract before you start with them?
Because you are sounding sooo different, or it's very easy to do such job.
Most domicilliary workers that came in through company suffer a lot bcos they can't wake up one day & give excuse of shift decrease. It is enslavery.
A friend, male nurse told me 2weeks ago, how the ladies she assisted from Ghana to UK for domicilliary care are crying everyday regretting toying the path. He said he never knew that the job is that tedious, now looking for ways to help them out.
Ada has said it all, most people can't open up like this. Meanwhile, they are dying in silence, crying bitterly everyday.
Chai this is so touching 😭
Its well
Thanks ada for opening of our 👀 👁 🥴 😵. And all those who want to relocate for this job in uk.i stepped back.
Easy to get
You don't need to step back, its doable, just telling you what you are likely to expect. Company differs

Ada, than you for your talks. Can I talk to you for your guidance on courses bcos am have issues in sign in on Florence academy. How can I dm you.

You are 100% right

I think I heard more 'guys ' than the I tended message. Thanks for sharing though
I hear you... thanks for watching
DOMICILIARY Care work is not easy. Every reason locals are not interested hence employers going for international recruitment.
Exactly ❤
Weldone ma
With the 2hrs break meaning one is working for 13hrs
Will they pay for the 13hrs or the hrs you spend in a client house
The hours you spent at clients house
@@AdaKings
Not encouraging
Oh my God.....this is so sad .....this my exact journey that I'm going through....oh my.... depression
It is well sis
Chai, its well❤
Another thing people don't know is, don't think it's immediately you finish your five years on tier two you will just go and get the ILR, you will need to renew with the sponsor and sometimes that might even ential a new visa because for you to have a subsisting contract you must have a visa. Its when people want to apply for ILR they will know the real gbedu. Think these things through.
Your ILR started counting the very first day you entered UK. Some people change employer within this 5yrs, and it has nothing to do with ILR, everyone's story is not the same dear
@@AdaKings everyone's story has to align with the immigration rule, your employer as at when you are applying for ILR has to assent to retain you for the foreseeable future. It's a major requirment when applying for ILR under tier 2. Infact they need to hear from your sponsor. I have mine and five others are on the same trail. Its on thier website, check it yourself. Of cos the five years starts to count when you enter the UK on a tier two, but as at when you apply, these conditions MUST be met. That's why it takes atleast six months to make a decision on ilr. Go and verify.
Come back to Africa, my sister
So aside domiciliary, which aspect of the healthcare is less draining? Is the support work better?
Support living is better less stress and you have time to relax.
Support work in a mental health home is far better
Thanks for sharing
Welcome ❤
You aren't lying my sister, but my own is flexible and company booked taxis for us for each call ,or sometimes their driver do it.👍
Wow, you are lucky then
Nice. Which company? Most agencies are dubious.
Ma you look so beautiful, may God give you the strength to be a wife a mother and still hold on to your job, in Jesus name amen 🙌
Amen🙏❤, thanks dear
Thank you so much Ada for this very sincere information. I love you videos alot, always value packed.
I pray that God heals you deeply and open greater doors for you and your family there🙏🏽
Awwwww, thanks for your kind words❤ amen🙏🙏

Amen sis🙏
A friend got domiciliary work and on getting there she couldn't continue due to her health. She left and started looking for another job, thankfully, she got a dispenser job.
Awwwww, thanks God for her!!
I think you did not just cope . I did Domiciliary I enjoyed it. I can still doing it again.
Wow, congratulations
is this domiciliary work same as the care assistant job?
Permit me to say this, I heard from another blogger that the UK govt has made changes on this. Infact I heard they have agreed to pay for the time you spent moving from client to client. Pls check the govt website
No. Some companies pay their workers but it's not a must, you have a job description read it before you appy
Ok dear, I will check but trust me they might not change your already signed contract. But we moveeeeeee
God bless you for your honest. We understand na. Is not.easy to work in people's home. A lot of things
Its well❤
Ada believe me I think your better of in Doha than right now ......The west has always been like that generally. You must work your ass out.,
This place is far better than Doha dear, there is no comparison mbok. Doha na scam
God bless you ma
❤
You said it all.
Thank you❤
They are dwelling on our vulnerability. I don’t think they can do that to core British citizens
Yeah, core British don't do much hour
The core Britons wnt evn do the job
It's not a death warrant.... Nice video but there's no job without challenges pls.... take some rest sis....
Thank you
