Good to see you back! I'm you're doing well~ I also stepped back a but on figures and cancelled a bunch. I felt a lot better getting what I really want! Most of my figs have to be stored at the moment so it helped me cut back knowing I can't unbox and display immediately
I remember when I crossed that bridge of figure collecting years ago; you get in so much debt and run out of space that collecting is not fun anymore but the fear of missing out and not preordering to avoid paying aftermarket was lingering every single time. Nowadays that "fear" is mostly gone since most figures plummet on the aftermarket. I'm glad you addressed your situation before it got way out of hand. All of us are glad to hear from you again that's why we did not unsubscribed.
I have also done the routine of having too many preorders, being in debt, and running out of room to the point where most of my figures have never seen the outside of their boxes and are in fact still stored in the shipping boxes. My bedroom looks like a warehouse. I HAVE slowed down on the ordering, and I think most of that is because 75% (more or less) of the figures being produced are lewd females with gigantic melon-like chest accents, lol. So very much not my thing. I have the MDZS Buxianxian which is so much better. Beautiful, elegant, whimsical I can't say enough good things about it. Another figure collector said Wonfest 2024 Summer had a ton a great figures. I saw maybe two I might buy depending on how they looked when painted. Most of the rest of them fell into that previous top-heavy category I mentioned. All I can say is - Thank you figure manufacturers for helping me save money! Oh by the way since you also like male figures, have you seen the newly released Alter figure of Oberon? He's pricey, but I kind of love him. Thank you for the video!
