Mates! This is one of those rums that you MUST try! The rum bottle is shaped to look like it came from 17th-18th century and the rum tastes, well, watch the video and find out!
Thank you my lady! My next goal is 500 subs. Well, when ye reach the age of 21 a bottle of this rum will be waiting for ye to try! Thanks for watching!
Though I'm a huge fan of Whiskey and Bourbon. I just bought a bottle of this rum i will be shortly breaking the seal and popping the cork on this rum. Should I enjoy a glass neat by itself ? Or pairing this Rum with a fine Cigar? This will be my first sipping rum ever
Ahoy mates! Yes, this rum is good neat but add some ice to open up the flavor. Pairs well with a Cigar. Leaf Cigars seem to work pretty good with this rum.
@@TheRiverPirate13 Aye Mate it was a perfect sipping rum i enjoyed it with a Undercrown Dogma Maduro. Definitely favor this rum later down the line ill try thr 15 year
Thanks brother, would be good a comparison between the three ages, 12 15 and 21 they do as for a someone like me that doesnt get to spend much on rum, I'd love to see tasting notes and differences from the same person
Aye! Good question mate! A fellow pirate on our Krewe of the 13 would shouted out “Shit Fire” during our invasion of Tybee Island Georgia last year. This pirate’s southern accent made it sound like “Shifar”. We found out that this is what the Black Corsairs (Mediterranean pirates) would shout out during battle which means “Gift of God”. So our pirate Krewe adopted this phrase vs the standard Huzzah when we like something. I find it fun to say knowing I am giving my maker credit for very tasty rum!
The River Pirate 13 The River Pirate 13 Ha! Good answer! I’m occasionally guilty of letting my Texan drawl out, which can be a problem. In that case... Shifar, mate!
I enjoyed this one. Easy sipping straight. Comparable with the mount gay xo. Sense of some age at affordable price
Agreed mate! A very enjoyable rum to sip without being crazy expensive. Thanks for watching!
Great bottle, great taste.
The first rum i ever tried and y second favorite rum after Diplomatico Reserva. Great review, left you a sub.
Thanks mate! I still got to get around to trying Diplomatico Reserva! I have heard phenomenal. I subbed you back.
@@TheRiverPirate13 Diplomatico Reserva is my fav Rum, I havent tried El Dorado 12 yet!!
Congrats on making it to 200 subs! That bottle is so pretty. I wish I could try it.

Wow! That's great!!
Aye! My lady ye would enjoy this one!
Nice review. Usually head for the purist sipping reviews but when it's hot the body probably needs the extra fluids.
We Pirates keep it simple when discussing rums. The rum purists often times make it too complicated instead of saying if it tastes good or not.
Argh!!!!! Looks delicious
Aye! Thank ye for watching mates!

That is fantastic idea! I don’t recall seeing any videos like that involving rum age comparisons. I might just try that!
Did you borrow that shirt from Jerry Seinfeld? 😆
How did you know? Lol!
What’s “shafar”, mate?
