I've always loved their music. Lately I've been listening to their interviews... man, they're a bunch of lovely, nice, educated, easy going guys. One of my favorite bands and favorite people out there!
Incredible. I always wondered about the 1985 title and the obvious Brian May sound. Now I see. I thought it may have been an ode to genius guitarists? Bill Steer definitely is in that realm. And of comments below, really wife and son? He seems to be the real deal. Cheers! Please tell him that their music is inspirational by the day. Might sound like a gush or too much, but it’s the whole package. To me, Carcass is like modern Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, thrown into a blender and out comes Carcass.
Carcass, please tour with the Melvins. That would be the cats ass, the bee's knee's, the whole kit and caboodle. Bill Steer and King Buzzo. On the same tour. Even though they are completely different styles, they both feel like old school hero's. No BS, straight to the gut Heavy rockin. That would be my ultimate tour to go out and see.
Carcass is one of the greatest bands of all time.

A phenomenal band. Amazing songs and great musianship. Bill Steer is a great guy, really down to earth. I had the pleasure of meeting him.
Carcass is my best "living" band with Death(RIP Chuck). In my book Carcass is the equivalence of Slayer. Looking forward to Torn Arteries!
Bill is a guitar god
My husband hahaha
Whenever I hear 1985 I feel like I can overcome anything.
How about we get back on the 'album every 2 years' schedule ? At this pace we'll only have like 2 more carcass albums in our lifetime

An incredible guy from an incredible band!
Brilliant. Love Bill.
I saw that tour they did with slayer in myrtle beach, and they blew slayer and testament off the stage !
I believe it.
I thought Jeff’s father was a pathologist?! I swear I read that many years ago.
His sister was a nurse or something like that.
Bill's sheer class, fretboard magician!
Congrats Steer! Awesome interview soulmate! I admire your intelligence, humor, respect, and strength every day...
Bill is my real dad
he seems like he'd be a cool dad
