  • A brand new year, and SO MANY great books! And, yes, a few media tie-ins.

I read and enjoyed “Monkeewrench” by P J Tracy. Checked in with Goodreads and was surprised to see the series contains 10 books. More to read! UTOPIA has been sitting on my shelf since 2015. Needs to be dusted off and read.

Holy cow! I didn't know that there were 10 of them! Looks like I have to see if they have any at HPB.

I don't believe any of those things can make you a Satanist but i agree that it's interesting. I was a kid during the Satanic Panic days. I remember that He-Man and Rainbow Brite were both considered Satanic. I remember the Dungeon and Dragons scare. Talk shows had specials about this and somewhere on RUclips there is a channel that uploads all of those old Satanic Panic videos. There are books that I want to buy that talks about this. When I was a teenager I started listening to Marilyn Manson when Antichrist Superstar was first released. I remember the panic over that band. I also have Utopia by Lincoln Child but of course i haven't read it yet. I'm actually reading a book that you've mentioned on these reading remembrances. The Light At The End by John Skipp and Craig Spector.

The Light At The End was my favorite, for a long time. I'm very interested in your thoughts.
I recieved a copy of Playing With Fire the other day. I may reread it soon.
