Glad to see you talk about one of my newest favorite herbs. My garden friends are surprised that I manage to have two very healthy Mullein plants here in S. Florida. I have one on its second year, so I look forward to seeing it blossom. I've been making a tea with green leaves, but I steep it for at least an hour. I do strain it with a typical kitchen strainer, but I haven't had any issues that I can tell with the hairs. Probably because I steep it so long.
It's such a useful plant and beautiful to grow. I think you're going to enjoy the flower spike, each day there are more little blossoms waiting for you. Thanks for sharing about your plants, let us know how they do. 💜🌱💜
Thanks for good tips. I am a bit hesitant to utilize mullein as they look a bit like foxgloves in their first year, they both volunteer here. I know how to tell them apart pretty sure but still it is a bit scary as foxgloves are so dangerous to digest. Smoking the mullein may be a safer first step I guess.
HI! I love herbalism.. I'm also learning on my own and have a little apothecary!! I haven't used mullein yet but after watching this I will be growing some!! Do you also use cannabis plant medicine? I live in a I502 state (Legal Rec WA) i'm just asking bc i think it would be an interesting combo to add with mullein. Those bundles are so cool. An abalone shell would be cool to use for burning. I use one for when I'm cleansing with resins!! Thanks for the book recommendations, I'm a book JUNKIE!!! gotta have the actually book too no e reading for me!! I'll have to try it! I'll be watching more of your videos! thanks for sharing sister :)
Hi. I don't live in a legal state so all I can say is that the combination you asked about would provide relaxation of body and mind to help with the calming of the lungs and, from what I understand, the taste is quite lovely too. Thanks for commenting!
The miraculous mullein! What a wonderful plant. It was the catalyst that pulled my family out from the Mexican Beer Sickness.
Very helpful!

Definitely be certain before using it. Waiting until it flowers might be safer.
I love mullein!
