- Since deciding to travel Australia full-time, we've upgraded and gotten ourselves a brand new SRT-19 from Snowy River Caravans. In this video we show you the ins and outs of our brand new rig and give a little insight into our thought process.
We are stoked to be travelling Australia in our twenties and can't wait for what the next 12 months and beyond will bring. We're towing our SRT-19 with our trusty Ford Ranger.

Just a quick note you two, the two batteries in my SRT19 turned out to be 120A each. Also, when I investigated the Projecta system in the cupboard above the fridge, I found the dip switches were not set to Lithium nor were they set to 200A. The dip switch sits under the top front cover of the unit when you remove the two screws.
One last thing, check the battery boxes as I found one wasn't properly secured nor were the terminals totally tight. Otherwise, a great caravan.
What a rig! We too swore we would never have a camper let along a van but it progressed from swag-tent-camper-off-road hybrid-21.5ft off road van now ❤❤❤ so happy for you guys take care enjoy
You just never know! So cool that adventure takes different forms. There's just no way I (jess) could live out of a rooftop tent long term lol
Really looking forward to following your journey. Our SRT 19 hopefully arrives in a few months so will enjoy seeing what you do with this van and where you take it. Will be good to have a reference to learn from as this is our first van. Love your colour SCHEME ! ( its the same as ours will be 😊)

Great setup guys, ranger looks good but you’d have to be over your gvm with all that gear and ball weight ?
I have similar setup on my ranger and we are looking at buying a van but can’t keep under gvm and that’s with it upgraded
