@@peturf1788 oh I was thinking it was the square one and had totally missed the lil rectangle it looks too long for a credit card slot but yeah that could fit in a cash slot
The interesting thing about the shuffle was the attachment neck lanyard with headphones. They designed a custom USB port with extra pins to carry the Audio. It's almost like a USB 3.0 port almost. And I think there was only one accessory manufacturer who took advantage of this and made a Dock.
Pretty neat! didnt know that was a thing and i have a feeling most people didnt. All the docks ive seen for the shuffle just lazily had a headphone jack.
For anyone wondering, plugging iPods and most USB devices into the USB ports on the Apple keyboard is not the best idea. It doesn't always provide enough power and it won't always tell you that it doesn't have enough power.
The keyboard was even supplied with a weird extension cable with special USB connector shape, so that you could only plug in power efficient deviced into it, such as the keyboard.
@@adameichler True. The keyboard will absolutely not provide enough power to device like an iPod shuffle. And that special keyboard extension cable that Apple supplied only had a small notch in the female end, easily defeatable with a pair of needlenose, pliers, and a good little crunch.
1:55 I was in a bookstore about 20 years ago and noticed a book on the shelf in the Computer section. on the front cover it showed an iBook, on the screen of that iBook well let me tell you the title first ... how to use windows or something like that, on the screen of the iBook in the picture was a windows 7 desktop or it was Vista I can't remember. I believe it was a G3 or a G4 and I had a G3 at the time and I thought there's no way you could run that very well in virtualization. I downgraded to Winters 2000 because windows XP barely worked in virtual PC.
I dont know much about the shuffle but if they did rerelease this again but with 128 gig or more i would buy it. The idea of having a mp3 player that is also a thumb drive sounds really cool to me
@@Ordlnary_Gamer No they don't, especially not in their laptops. Their hinges *ALWAYS* seize up and snap off the plastic studs they attach to when you keep opening and closing it, and they have endless overheating problems because the air vents are too big, so they suck up every piece of lint and hair in your environment. I help soooo many customers move away from HP because of the endless failures. Get a Lenovo instead, preferably of the ThinkPad or ThinkBook lines. If for some reason you don't like those, get a Dell. Both brands are far more reliable than HP ever was.
@@Ordlnary_Gamer yeah they do suck i have 2 hp laptops and they are easy to disassemble but my newer one is starting to show the same symptoms as my older one its like they where purposely designed to start running slow after a few years and i only have a few apps on it no music videos or photos so i would say they are a horrible product
Never noticed the quick start guide is wallet size so you can carry it with you and never forget the instructions
That would have too be a pretty massive wallet it looks like twice as tall as a wallet

My guess, maybe it was a refurbished soufflé and they forgot to wipe off Mitch's memory.

Omg my grandad had one of these I basically lived off it as a kid 🤣🤣 was pretty good for me as a young lad when I didn't know things could be better 🤣
It never stops
the uploads are endless, jokes aside good vid as always. thanks man.
Its very likely that Mitchell tried to set it up and then it never worked so it was sold off
Fucking loved my shuffle, got one for my birthday when I was like 13 and it fit my entire music collection lol
Thanks Wade!

I had a GoGear Mix, arguably an improvement, although it was probably much newer as well
Thank you for the words of encouragement, Dankpods. I will keep doing the thing!
