How to replace Alternator on Toyota Camry, Corolla or 6th Gen Celica. Step by Step! DIY RHD JDM

You don't have to be a mechanic to replace an alternator but you need a little bit of knowledge about cars and be a little bit handy.
Of course, have the correct replacement and a few tools.
I'm not a mechanic by any means but I like to try to work in cars!
I like to learn and challenge myself to do stuff. But if there is anything I don't feel comfortable doing than I rather take it to a professional!

So far everything looks easy. And very similar to corolla and camry. I used to own a newer Camry about 10 years ago.

So did that exhaust dash light turn on because of the faulty alternator?
Because i see it went away with the battery dash light once you had replaced the alternator

Yes, that combination of light was for alternator! Car never had any issues or dash light. Once replaced, all good again!

My engine is 2 0 L. But alternator is a for a 2.2 L
