Suggestion to every journalist: When people ignore your questions and race on with "spin" you should turn off their microphone until they ANSWER the question. Let them know that's what you're doing and let's see if we can't keep people a bit more on track and accountable.
If you are going to mute a mic, you might as well not include the individual on your network. It would save everyone from the frustration.
Politicians not answering questions or putting a spin on their answer is typical.
