I ended a toxic relationship today and Isaiah 54:17 was the scripture that was repeated through out the day to me I spoke it my pastors wife spoke it and my pastor spoke it as well. I wasn’t on service today. I know it’s God telling me I’m gonna be ok and to keep having faith in him💕 I felt so far from him in this relationship but now I’m free!

My advice to the young girls is that look's for a believer man to a believer woman to date or marry. If the guy said he will be comfortable with you girls Christian's it's a big liar, as soon you are married he will change, and will be late for you to change. Look out for your own religion and marry such. Also dont choose your partner on materials level, its always better to choose from self made and not family or parents made. God doesn't choose our mates. We have free will to choose for ourselves. We also have the choice to remain single.
The discerning factor for those who desire to be married is choosing based on his Word.
Ask yourself these questions:
If God chose your mate would YOU accept the package the way he delivers it? Would YOU reject them based on appearance, economic status or race?
God said he would supply our needs. Our desires are two fold. Sometimes we reject who we need and other times our selfish desires could lead to destruction.
There's a saying..... Be careful what you ask or pray for because you just might get it and everything that comes along with it.
We always want God to bless our union in marriage but he is not a matchmaker. He doesn't care about the carnal . His discernment is Spirit.
If God chose YOUR mate and things dont work out, the first thing we as humans would do is blame God. Yet God is Blameless.
The first example is Adam and Eve. Eve was taken out of and created for Adam and after they transgressed, the first thing Adam said was......GOD....THE WOMAN YOU GAVE ME ! BLAME GAME 101 .
Search his Word and seek the Godly attributes for a Husband or Wife . Pray and ask God discernment in your choices.

He don't choose for us but he guide us that we don't make mistakes and later blame for our disobedience.

But that free will isn’t absolute, and it can lead to the wrong choice.
We can’t just marry any person in the world. There are over 8 billion people, and we don’t have the power or ability to literally be able to marry any one of those people.
God chose our general path in life for us; where and to whom we would be born, at what time, what our inherited virtues would be, and what circumstances we would grow up in. Therefore, our free will is not as powerful as you portray it to be and in reality a vast majority of our life is completely outside of our own control.
Also, when it comes to God’s role in having us choose a spouse, I would say that like every decision we need to rely on God’s guidance as He commands us to do. This is especially in the case of choosing a spouse since it is a decision that can make or break us.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
Whoever seeks the Lord with all of their heart will find Him.
Wisdom is a part of God, and God loves it when we seek after Wisdom and follow what it says.
Also, when you think about how God made a spouse for Adam in the garden, He didn’t say;
“It is not good for man to be alone. I will make numerous females for him that he will be free to choose from.”
He did instead say,
“It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper fit for him.”
When God wanted man not to be alone, He didn’t give him numerous potential options to choose from. Instead, He made one particular person that would be just right for them.
Well marriage is more of spiritual than physical... It involves alignment of purpose and compatibility. Only God knows d heart of man so if we ask him... He will surely guide us to d right person for us. The fact that d person is a good person may not be good for u.

Really? Is God's plan and will so easily changed by a human being whom God created? I mean Adam and Eve disobeyed God but He did not destroy them and the world He created, meaning his plans for humanity. David sinned so many times but God's plan and will did not change for his life. He died as a King. Jonah was sent to Nineveh and he went to Talashish. He ended up right where God wanted him to be. We really box God's ways and thinking, yet He has said that His Ways and Thoughts are above our own but we are able to so confidently say, this is how God works and does not work this way. We treat God as we treat our fellow human beings. Let the Holy Spirit lead you is all I can say. God has created all of us so uniquely, our finger prints are proof of that which should suggests that the plans He has for our lives are uniquely done by Him. How then can we expect the same things to happen to us all the same way?
I believe this is how the Chief Priests, teachers of the law and elders were not able to believe Jesus is the Son of God because they thought they knew how God works.

For me the signs and red flags was her insatiable thirst and appetite for other men. I ended it although I loved her like no other. She was in another relationship in zero time flat and I never heard from her again. I would still like to think I made the right decision and I think I did. I sensed God's intervention in the matter and am grateful now although at the time, I was very hurt.
She wasn't for you, better to separate now than hurt more in the future. Usually there are girls who talk with other guys behind your back during a relationship without even notice. That's why she starts a new relationship right away, they always have a back-up in case something is wrong. We must be aware of that. There are red flags since the beginning.

@Robert Drake It is so difficult for Christian men to find a godly woman nowadays. For us we have to choose between 5-10 % of world women in most cases. The problem is that must be mutual, usually you like her but she doesn't like you and viceversa. Then there are life expectations and self-love, if you love yourself more than anything it will be difficult to sacrifice in love. Most people get in a relationship without being happy before that and expect to be happily married, it is not like that. Most women fall in love with the perfect guy they always had in their head and when they think they found the one and he is not like that, they try to change and control him. We also have to beware of the worldly girls who pretend they are Christian. Churches are full of them. I had one like that two years ago and it was enough. They think love is passion and fall in love with your body only.

I think God will deliver the right person when you forget about your mondane issues and help the others with your heart. Being too focused to find the one, or your perfect match, won't lead to it. This is my personal experience. Singleness is a great way to travel, discover themselves and strengthen the soul before starting a fulfilling relationship. I know how you feel. Ask the Lord to help you to truly love yourself, and to truly love God. It will be easier to walk away. Once you know and believe that you deserve better. And when you know and believe that God have better for you. It will be okay in Jesus name. God loves you, and so do I.

It can be easy to say we would never fall into this trap of sticking with someone that isn’t God’s will for us, until we are with that person. How badly we need wisdom and strength!
The devil really does get a foothold in this area if we are not prayerful and walking carefully.

Sometimes to be equally yoked to the spouse of our Dreams we have to grow to the point where we can be equally yoked with that very special person. I find that the more I grow in obedience to God, the higher expectations I have for her, if she exists.

I am still enjoying the call to single life, but this message really resonated in my soul this evening. Though I know in my heart that God has called me to remain single and to remain as such with a joyful heart, their is still a small piece of my heart that wishes for just a twinkle of romance. Laughingly reflecting on this, I really like point 3 followed by point 2. My strong faith in Christ and my desire to live as such is seemingly a problem among the potential dating candidates in my area. No one seems to want to wait for sex and no one has respect for monogamy...even amongst the Christians....which God calls us to love Him above all else and to worship no other gods, with marriage designed for one man and one woman...it is quite off putting to be constantly ridiculed by the counterculture to behave against my faith based worldview, which therefore makes your point number 2 interesting in that God gives his followers the power to reject those who are not in line with a biblical worldview. If culture would allow for the courtship styles of our grandparents but still have modern technology and womens right's, the world might be a bit more utopian to me.

Wow. This happened to me. I kept telling my ex girlfriend about Jesus and how much he loves us and showing her quotes from the bible. The relationship ended quick after that. Looking back, she wasn't the right girl for me. I pray she is doing good.

Marriage is about growth and communication, theres no way a person can marry the wrong person and be happy, it is important to love oneself before marriage, quite frankly, some people are better off single, love is a fragile thing in life, in order to preserve it we must be able to fight for it.

It's always best to wait until you realizes God is in the relationship. I am a widow now but knew very clearly God put us together. There are too many issues that you won't agree on if you marry someone that doesn't share your faith. Also don't let other people influence you if you are into the thirty plus age God knows what is best not others, I married in my mid thirties(and had a Son later) and am glad I waited.

This is so true! God has been so good protecting me., from wrong relationship., usually even before if starts! Even though he already confirmed to me that I'm going to get married. He is so good to me, there are times that i disobeyed Him regarding on relationships & i end up so heartbroken, and i don't blame Him coz it's my fault though. But now i learned my mistakes, I'm not focusing on why i am still single, but rather God's love cannot compared to the love of any man can offer. Everyday i remind myself He is enough for me, coz he did fills all the emptiness in my heart. I don't feel lonely unlike before I'm ok when i see couples coz i already knw his promised to me that im gonna get married one day. GOD DOESN'T WANTS JUST GOOD FOR US, HE WANTS THE VERY BEST FOR US!

God speaks to us everyday its up to us whether we choose to listen to him or not. I had just embarked on a relationship which i thought was gona lead to marriage but from onset red flags were raised and i chose to ignore thinking that i would make it work in my spirit i knew he wasnt for me but i thought to myself i have been lonely for over 3yrs i jus need someone to call my own someone i can share stuff with and ofcourse avoiding fornication at all cost. I tagged along and i was happy (i was unequally yoked) until one mrng the guy woke up in a different mood he ddnt wana talk to me of which when he did he would be edgy.....so i decided that negative energy is not my cup of tea and i also went quiet till today and i knew God wasnt happy with my relationship. Bottom line he warned me and i ignored so he acted. So let us learn to listen to him. He knows our needs so he will provide dnt grow weary keep pressing😘😚

Good points. Discernment is helpful and putting God first is the key. Singleness is difficult at times but knowing God is in control and protecting us for the one makes, it all worth it. I'm waiting on His promises and future in the right relationship that is meant to be!

Hi, it's great to belive the best will happen but don't you think you should't be the one converting him? If you pray for him to come to Jesus (which is absolutely ok) but at the same time you keep the relationship it's like playing Jesus in the first place - you believe he will change because of you and for you...because you probalby want him so much. And don't get me wrong- I recenty met someone who absolutely didn't know Jesus and wants to listen more and more from me. I'm convinced it is sth he really wants-he's curious whenever we talk about God's work. HOWEVER, I don't have peace about this because of clear bible scriptures. Even though I never met someone who would prove his great qualities so well and be real, I feel the best thing to do for me now is to direct him to some christian folks and let him experience God without me. This way I will obey God and let Him do His work. If I continue the relationship hoping he will come to Jesus, it's like seeking approval of sth that God clearly doesn't approve (bible verses-unequally yokes, believer vs unbeliever). If I obey God and leave this person then who knows...God will be happy I gave up the relationship and if the person will fall in love with Jesus then God will do His things and bring us together (if that's His will). Anyway, all the best and love Jesus first. Btw. Thanks because im writing to myself now as well;) love

I just ended a relationship with a Muslim man three months ago. He was very manipulative. I hate to think how much worse it would have gotten if I had stayed in the relationship. While I’m not trying to bash Islam, many people of this religion view women as inferior to men, and treat them accordingly. While I’m not happy that I had to end the relationship, I know it’s for the best. Thank you for this video - I know God is looking out for me.

If he was able to be this abusive from a distance, I hate to think what it would have been like if he had made it here. And I honestly think it's easier for men to move on even if they have kids then it is for women.. this man is no longer in my life and has chosen not to see his children again and my pastor says it's a blessing that all of his going down has come out now while our children are young and don't follow in the father's foit steps. And he said that God knows my children need a good Godly man in the lives and that God will send me a good husband who will treat me the way I ought to be treated and be a good father to my children, but I'm starting to think that is Wishful Thinking because men don't tend to want to be with a woman has children for someone else it's a sad fact and at 31 years old with 2 kids theres know future fir me with anyone.
