The goal here was to win the World Series without ever losing, while playing on the default settings.
Seeing as how the ending of this game has yet to be shared online, I figured that it’s best to do so sooner, rather than later.
Since each match is rather long, only highlights of the major plays are featured over the course of this video, including a nasty game freezing glitch that forced me into having to reset the game during the playoffs!
I dedicate this run to my hometown Toronto Blue Jays. Thank you for the memories, especially those back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993! Who knows, maybe you’ll do it again, but that is entirely up to you of course. I’m just a video game player after all and not a genuine baseball player hahaha!

My goal here was to make the Winnipeg Jets live up to their namesake by winning every single game during Season mode. Fortunately, it happened!
Since 100 games played would clearly take up way too much footage, I had to condense the season into a highlight package. However, the deciding Stanley Cup game is featured in its entirety.
I dedicated this run to one of my favourite hockey players, Teemu Selanne, who began his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets and who scores many of the goals here. Teemu’s first playoff hat trick is also included after the 100-0 season.

Wait, how do you shoot the puck with out doing a slap shot?! Every time I press C to shoot, it does a massive wind up.
Good question :). The secret to scoring tons of goals in this game is to pass the puck into the net from certain angles, rather than shooting it in. This completely fools the goalie, since it has been programmed to detect shots at the net and not passes.
The only problem with passing the puck into the net is that the player who does so will mostly not get credit for the goal, but rather the player that the pass was intended for hahaha!
While shooting the puck without taking a slap shot is possible by pressing the shoot button very quickly, while not holding down the button, it's generally very inaccurate regardless.
@@DTysonator Thanks for letting me know! I'll give it a try! Any tips on directing a pass into the net without sending it into the boards or backwards or something like that?
@@Persadish You're welcome :). Certain angles will completely freeze the goalie in place, as you can see from the footage here.
Please make sure that none of your players are ahead of you when going to the net, otherwise the pass will go to them, instead of towards the goalie.
While it can be tricky to locate these passing scoring angles at first, you'll get the hang of it, as long as you keep it up and NEVER give up!
Also, you can be creative and pass the puck off of the boards and sometimes it will actually go in hahaha!
Only EA sports should be allowed to make hockey games.
