I totally agree, I have a Breville Express Baristta for 4 years, and it's very easy to steam silky foam milk. I just upgraded to Rancilio Silvia X, which has 3 holes tip, very powerful machine, but it's very difficult steaming milk. Now I ordered one hole tip to solve this issue.
FWIW I tried their tip and hated it. Massive buildup of milk residue inside the tip, I'm guessing becusse of the complex turbulent flow associated with the curved blade aperture. It was a real pain to keep clean. Also a lot of pressure build in the steam wand cause it to heat alarmingly. I'm a fan of Weber, but this product really didn't cut it for me. I also spent a lot on it because the adapter didn't fit my machine

steam wands are made for cafes that need to think about speed but home baristas can probably invent a much better design for microfoam
Always interesting tips. Thanks!
how to shut down the automatic flush function after steaming the milk?
With the latest nightly version of the Decent app. You can utilize the "2 tap" feature to bypass the auto purge.
What is the size of hole in the single and the 3 hole tips?
0.8mm on 3 hole, 1.0mm on 1 hole
What are your thoughts on doing something like the steam tip Weber Workshops offers?
They've done a great job, and we might come out with an adaptor for their tip. I've used it.

Decent team, did you guys decide to shelve the blade tip for now? Haven't seen it on your website. Thanks
Waiting on that blade ;)
So, this blade is just like the Foam Knife from Espresso Parts and SS&W?
Similar but different.
@@decentespresso thats the same question I had, different in what way?
@@camartinez6 the foam knife has a hold in the center of the blade cut, ours does not.
Is this shipping on v1.42? If not how/ when will this tip be available ?
Which tip do you mean by "this" ?
@@decentespresso the blade tip made custom for you
@@KyleWillingham Ah gotcha. We didn't go with it, as it still needs more work to be really useable. Current options are 1 and 3 hole tips from us.
