Reading the comments really shows you the level of awareness of people. This movie is speaking on the true nature of our being. This movie is showing you that all is a Dream. This movie is showing you the dream that God/Consciousness is having, a dream of separation. This movie is trying to show/remind you that all is one Consciousness and there is no separation between each other, all is a reflection of the self. If you were aware of all the experiences you were having you would go mad, because the human mind would not be able handle it (As you can see from the movie, the little girl's mind couldn't handle being aware of all the other experiences of consciousness, which is her true self). Consciousness is the only thing there is. To have an authentic experience being a human / having a dream of being a human, you must forget /not be aware of all the other dream self. Source/Consciousness is beyond the inner standing of the mind. Only Consciousness/ All there is, can be aware of all things. You are not the body or the mind. You are consciousness/awareness / spirit / God / Source. You are the creator of the Dream; you are not the dream.

I thought it was trying to teach life lessons. I thought the people she recognized throughout was going to circle back to where she began. I thought a big life lesson was going to unfold at the end. Sigh.

Quantum Leap , the movie!
I suppose the movie could have ended with her returning home having learned her lesson and living happily ever after. But I kinda like the fact that it didn't. Maybe she learned a more valuable lesson. The transient nature of our life, experience. She came to terms with life in a much more meaningful way.

I have looked at this film quite a bit since I first saw it. I started looking at it metaphysically. Certain questions came to mind. What does it mean to be a person? What does it mean to have an identity?. How hard would you fight to keep it? I think there's a lot more to this movie or a lot more types of interpretations that you can make.

Waste of Time
To me,that could have been a great movie! Story,actors,Director all worked very well! But the end? Looks like the Producer wanted that movie wrapped up because he/she lost interest! Just let it end when the girl is falling asleep again! Or is it a cliffhanger and when we are lucky a second movie will be done? And my little edit:Soo that is science Fiction for you? I don't see science ,maybe with good will,fiction!

Fantastic as this movie seems, it really fundamentally is possible, the premise is not reality shifting, so much as a shift f consciousness from one life to another over each dream. Each day we are all different people, this movie takes it to the ultimate. Great movie. How shocked would anyone be waking up to discover they are indeed someone else.

Spoilers ----Never got the reverend reference. They were so close to a...plot and then lost it. It's like a Quantum Leap, but designed to torture a pre-teen, who has no concept of adult life situations, including sexual ones...so its torture, and as we saw, she can't kill herself either. Poor creature.

Interesting, but I think some lessons learned and a resolution would have been more logical.... but all the actors were quite good.
The First scene Is a hyper close up.... So I switch It off and look for a Better movie.
