For the pc bug where it disconnects your wheel. Don’t use enter when you’re going to disconnect your keyboard like everyone says. It makes your rewinds and everything buggy. You can use ANY button on the keyboard just an FYI for peoples cuz I was getting annoyed with rewinds yesterday I could only do one rewind. And the it threw me back in
Using simulation steering I definitely have no issues drifting with the wheel. Finally 3 star a drift zone with it yesterday 😂

Got into the game today. The FD cars feel freaking awesome.
Forza 5 is a lot more drift friendly as far as sliding-off-the-road goes. On some areas you can get points even with the entire car just barely on the road.
I can’t wait to just get on some realistic cruises and highway races 🤩😍

This is the first Forza game I haven't played on controller! Just recently was able to get the Thrustmaster ts-xw base with the t-lcm pedals and th8a shifter add on! Been having a blast but still learning to drift lol...

How did you get your wheel to work? Seen alot of ppl to have problem with the wheels. I get " controller not connected " at start (g923) and with the "fix" force feedback dont work or vibration.

The controls bug is still a problem. Fastest fix is this;
Whenever you change any settings you may lose your clutch. So before leaving the settings menu, go to controls-wheel-select default 2-save-select previous controls(your user config)-save-exit menus. Everything will work. Do this every time you change any settings.

people that have this game are lucky i bought it last night and downloaded it when i was asleep so i could play it today but i cant because my graphics card will not allow me to watch the game on my pc

If my shifter or clutch doesn't work I usually unplug my wheel, cycle my controller on and off and it'll start working, instead of hard restarting console
The simulation steering feels really great in this game. I have the same exact setup as you and I got look back, look right, and look left mapped to the bottom left 3 buttons. Yellow look back, white look left, orange, look right. Hope this helps man. 👍 (PC settings btw)

On the G29 I have to bring down the FFB way down because it's so stiff, which leaves you guessing a little bit with the feedback and takes time to get used to. Have to start with 360 and work up to 900.

I have the ts-xw sparco mod as well and can't seem to get my handbrake to work with my setup/shifter... Just updated all my latest firmware and still nothing. Hope they get their things in order soon! Can't wait for the hot patch to use my ebrake properly.. :(
Your tuning needs some help slap! Love the video. I know car set up is really dependent on chasis and your driving style but slap! Brake bias in the rear with mas deceleration lock makes it harder to drive, most FD drivers have the foot brake set up to near 100% bias in the front and hydro e brake controls the rears. If you want to extend your drift with the e-brake like how you were in the second drift zone, turn the deceleration lock to 10% or preferably lower. The tire pressure is way too high. The car feels grippy becusee for some reason Playground games has stiffer rear anti roll bars than front by default witch is inaccurate for real life comparisons and also makes it harder to oversteer. Somewhere around 30 to 50 has been working for me for the front and 1 to 8 for the rear. To loosen up the car you can also add some rear tow just make sure it doesn't affect accel or deceleration. After you tune your car your car's suspension and alignment for understeer you can then reduce tire pressure and have all the grip of a low tire pressure and all the benefits of a higher one. Also check out your dampening and spring rates, I find personally they are too stiff for these cars. If you can't see the weight shifting forward and back it's to stiff and it makes weight transferring harder. I always start with the lowest setting for rears and then 100 to 300lbs stiffer in the front depending on the ride height and overall weight balance. Balance!

My only issues wheel wise thus far is no force feedback, unplug and replug fixes it though. The other issue I haven't found a way to correct yet is that the clutch pedal isn't the clutch pedal 😐 seems to be mapped to nothing, making using the gated shifter feel so wrong
You should do a realism comparison to how it feels up against irl drifting w/ and w/o power steering!
