    • @zubairalam1561
      @zubairalam1561 4 месяца назад

@@amitghosh6966 you can purchase 10000 HDD now and sell in Future at high cost. Jokes apart. HDD may not disappear very soon because every company knows it's safer for data Storage. So, there will some companies making these. Bulb and tubelights disappeared because they consume very high power than LEDs, some bulbs consume 10 times higher than LED. In terms of HDD and SDD, consumption is not noticeable and SDD will stop working after few years due to which consumers will rely on HDD and companies have to manufacturer it. This is just theory and my observation bro.

Hi, guys i am writing this comment for general information. So which ever hardrdrive or ssd company you use or buy, just keep a monitoring software like " Hard disk Sentinel" to monitor your drives it helps a lot. If there are bad sectors or any critical problem with your drives it will let you know before hand and will buy you some time to backup the data.

you can check in HWinfo how much data has been written on the SSD
Btw did you know HDD have no TBW rating meaning they can run for lifetime until and unless there is a mechanical failure or circuit issue @@AshPd

If someone only stores media like movies, songs for entertainment purposes then, cheap SSD is better option

Is it obvious that solid state drives last much longer than moving parts in the form of HDD, especially when you want to store personal data where TBW values stay low for decades? I didn't see the cases of SSDs dying out even with 300+ TBW where HDD dies out easily

By this view, pen and papers are ultra reliable things. Maybe these can hold a very small amount of data but they can hold it for centuries with little effort.

Because 2 is 1 and 1 is 0. If I lose 1 drive out of 2 I still have 1 more backup but if I have 1 drive and it fails I'll lose every.
My rule is to not to save any personal data on SSD if stored on SSD I'll keep a copy in HDD.
Once if your HDD is dead there is a high chance of data recovery vs SSD the data recovery chance is close to 0.

Basically, buy the costliest Ironwolf (NAS) drive which is costlier than the Exos (Enterprise) drive or the Skyhawk (video-dvr) drive all of which are designed to run 24x7 is the summary of this video. Nevermind the fact that they are SSD or HDD SMR or CMR. If the data is really important then it is far better to use any (CMR) hdd drive in a RAID 1/5/10 configuration for redundancy with an additional external/off-site drive for backups. SSD can be used for cache. This makes drive/s redundant and data loss is prevented in first place compared to buying a single albeit expensive Ironwolf drive. Bottom line is an expensive drive like Ironwolf does not prevent data loss if the drive fails, unless it is also backed-up and is RAID enabled if high-availablity is required. When we have backup as well as RAID 1/5/10 the most important factor becomes... How long is the warranty?

Depends on the usage of users too... U can make your laptop work as long as u want, if yess u only use it for normal use or maybe 5-6 days per month...
But for high performance or daily laptop users, they do need SSD for high tasks nowadays... Or else u can't really wait for HDD to load...
Especially for us, software engineers and graphics designers too cuz they need fast transfer speed... I mean yess hdd is safe and reliable, but only use it for personal data storage nothing else...
Or do u really want to wait to load one file for 5-10 mins 😂

    Hello Indian Gamer, 🙏
I trust your reviews a lot, so I need your advice. I’m a video editor using an Apple Mac Studio (1TB), and I recently bought a SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD (1TB, 2000MB/s) for extra storage. But it heats up after 5-7 hours of use 🔥 and has corrupted my data multiple times, causing me to lose important projects. 😔 Customer support suggested data recovery and offered a replacement, but I’ve lost confidence in it.
Could you recommend a reliable SSD that can handle 12-16 hours of continuous use without these issues? I’d really appreciate any advice you could share. Thanks! 🙌

MSI isn't even a good brand for laptops bro. They are one of the worst when it comes to support and after sale service. So I'll advice you to buy SSD only from reputable brands like Samsung, WD (blue), Crucial (MX series), SanDisk(Also a part of WD), Kingston. WD blue le lena aur budget ka jyada issue ho to WD green bhi le lena but still go with blue one and you won't regret.
