She’s only getting to the finals now because the Naomi Osaka who normally beat her in grand slams isn’t player. Watch her loss to Su-Wei Hsieh on grass no less. “Powerful” strokes like these that she probably emulated from the ATP tour is worth nothing when you waste all your energy trying to hit hard on each shot with no sustainable system of producing effortless power like Clijsters, Jennifer Capriati or Lindsay Davenport did.
