Today I am unboxing and testing the all new Ryobi P262 1/2" 4 mode Impact Wrench. This unit Delivers up to 600 ft-lbs. of Breakaway Torque and 450 ft-lbs. of Fastening Torque. I test it removing the lugs from my tire in all 4 modes to see how each perform.

If you use a deep socket, the extra weight of the socket will make lugnut come off easier. I have the older Ryobi model p261 225 ft lbs fastening and 300 ft lbs breakaway is enough for my hone auto needs. Cheers!
Home Depot has this model on sale right now for only $199 with a battery, charger and a deep socket wrench set. If I had this last week in my car, it would of saved me over an hour of being on the side of the road with a lug nut that refused to come loose. I`ll be buying mine before the year is up.
Down voted. You didn't even put the lug nuts on. What's the point if you're not going to put lug nuts on.
Im a VW dealer tech, been using this impact daily for over 2 years. Only failure was the LED lights in front but that is due to me abusing it and throwing it around in my cart. Performs and just as reliable as the "professional" high dollar impacts if not lasts longer. You cant beat it at this price point. For the $160 i paid for the tool, Id buy this again when it does breakdown
That’s awesome
Its handy too because it works with the wheel in the air too.. i used to have to hand crack the lugs loose before jacking up my car.
its not automatic mode its auto mode ...like cars nd stuf so when you take something off it just brakes it loose and stops after that and then when you tighten it only tightens till it starts to impact then you need to use a torque wrench to do the rest so you get the corect spec and dont over torque everything
Cordless is the way to go. I was finally successful to pull my in law from air lines and cords.
AUTOMATIC MODE. DEFAULT.
sweet, I just pickup up 4 of these for a sweet deal of $210 for all 4, no battery or charger
Beautiful scenery, thanks for the lens
