I think i remember in a Q & A video from a few years ago Dan mentioned that he doesn't have a wife because Max takes up most of his time. He said something like "I don't have a significant other because of Max". Of course i doubt he meant that he regrets having Max around, he probably just meant that having a Cockatoo is a lot of work and he doesn't have time for relationships and that's fine! Honestly, sometimes having a pet is better than having a girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband or whatever. Less drama 😅🤷♀️
