Thank you buddy! You just saved my life. I was about to quit game development today as i was stuck with this terrain stuff from like last 10 days on how to correctly make it low poly. One quick question : Making terrain for a open world game by using 200m of plane from blender won't increasing my game size for mobiles ? or it will ?

im not too familiar with 3d model file sizes, but im just gonna take a wild guess and say yes and no. the bigger your game world and the more things that are going to be in the game will probably make your game size bigger. but idk if simply having a 'large size mesh' is going to make your game size unwieldly big just because of that

Here's my feedback about the video: It is missing explanations for a lot of concepts like heightmaps, the values you entered for the plane mesh, the modifiers you used, what was the shader for? and bunch of other stuff. Pacing could be slower as well.

thanks for the feedback! the reason i made it so fast paced and briefly touched on everything is because all that material is already out there (and presented in a much better way than i can)
im clearly assuming a lot of prerequisite knowledge here and i'll need to take that into account for the next one, thanks again!
