Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) composed the large symphonic work 'Sheherezade' in 1888. It is based on the fairy tales “1001 nights”. Arranger Ruud Bergamin found inspiration in the original work to make it a 6/4 time jazz-waltz, with bluesy sounds. Ruzana’s violin brings out the famous Sheherezade-motif. Solos by Wim Warman, Helena Sousa Estévez and Ruud Bergamin.
