I'm sure it's no fun to have to outrun a storm, but there's something a bit magical about living so close to nature that you adjust your daily life and movements to its rhythms.
That was a beautiful tour of the old churches and countryside. You have shown me the England I would most like to see. Thank you Vanessa, and I hope you have a great week.
I thought that this poem was appropriate . . . 'Resolution and Independence' by William Wordsworth There was a roaring in the wind all night; The rain came heavily and fell in floods; But now the sun is rising calm and bright; The birds are singing in the distant woods; Over his own sweet voice the Stock-dove broods; The Jay makes answer as the Magpie chatters; And all the air is filled with pleasant noise of waters.
I love this poem. I agree with you that it is really appropriate given the weather. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
As I watch your beautiful video, the rain is falling here in Wellington, New Zealand, on a stormy Saturday morning. So magic to watch your journey from across the world. Stay safe ❤ Vanessa and Zepha. ❤
The name Charles Tunnicliffe rang a bell with me as he is the same C F Tunnicliffe who illustrated Ladybird books. He did “What to look for in Winter” and all the other seasons. I’m a big fan of Ladybird books, particularly the nature based ones. A very exciting vlog this week. What an adventure in all that stormy weather!
You don't give yourself enough credit! We have seen you pushing and pulling and everything else! You are quite wit and fit!!! I live on the Gulf Coast currently and 2 days ago , we had 4 States dealing with tornadoes. All we had to do was hunker down!!! Loving your book that I received expeditiously, to Ocean Springs, MS!
Tornados! 😱 I’d be so frightened in a tornado. When my kids were little, I took them to Florida on holiday and there was a tornado; I was so worried that I made us all sit in a cupboard until it had passed. I hope you are all safe and sound now? Take care 🌻🦋
@@themindfulnarrowboat Yes, Gulf Coast folk are quite a resilient bunch!! I lived in Florida before moving here, and spent my youth in England (British Mum) but I must say, the people here on the Gulf Coast are very congenial and warm-hearted!!! It's no England, but we have a lot more sunshine!!!
After living on a sailboat for three years, I always enjoyed the storm when I was safe at the dock not out in the open wate. Thank you for sharing your video.❤
It is a dream come true to live near to nature but the episodes when nature is red in tooth, claw and force 9 are hard to endure. Thanks for the reminder, we sitting on our cushioned sofas are, and the dream reminds us, so safe and cosseted by and large. Thank you for another fascinating real life adventure.
Hi Rikki, the wild days make it feel like a proper adventure, although I do like the calm, sunny ones! 😄👍 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🌻🦋
Well every time I watch an episode, I wish I were in a tea room or pub with you, sitting beside a fire with a dozen or so new questions I am dying to ask. As an ancient American sailor I am beginning to feel that a Narrowboat should be somewhere in my future.
@@themindfulnarrowboat I love all boats. I lived on a permanently moored houseboat once for two years in a marina where I had a small 21 foot sailboat. I’m thinking I may have to come hire one for a week, maybe next year. Do you ever agree to meet with those who follow you and let them buy you a supper?
Hatton Row Terrace Houses. Another place you've shown me I'd like to live. People don't realize how wonderful some places would be to live in because living in a lovely place would I hope help you be happier with your life. I know England is full of little villages that I imagine are the best places to live and you are always showing us some of the most beautiful places on your travels. I'm Homesick again Vanessa. That was a special vlog for me as you reminded me of my homeland maybe too much. I think it was the bluebells you saw that made me a bit too emotional as it took me right back to my childhood. be safe Vanessa.
Rain pelting the portlights, wind blowing…knowing you’re tied to the bank securely…rocking gently..relaxing with a book- I’d be out like a light before I finished 1 page! I have a sailboat, so all those things would NOT be relaxing. Maybe I should chuck the sailboat and move to England or France and get a narrowboat. Well, as we sailors say, Fair winds and following seas!
Wow, thank you for taking us with you on your journey. That was a pretty stiff rain/hail. Spring is here and summer is coming. Love the ducks. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Hello Vanessa - greetings from Poland. A lovely video. Tunnicliffes walk was superb - the avenue of trees, church and jackdaws were all beautiful. The storm looked very scary. Good job you and Zeph were not about when that tree came down!
Hi Michael, I really enjoyed doing the walk Tunnicliffe described in his book; I’ll have to go back on a not so blustery day. When I saw that fallen tree afterwards, I shuddered at the thought. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Take care 🌻🦋
Yet another enthralling video, There is a soothing nostalgic atmosphere in your tours around the canals, being in the midst the nature and wildlife and historical landmarks that thankfully have not changed .. I didn't know that Jackdaws were generational in their nesting places, so fascinating, So relieved that you weren't near that tree falling down. The bridges are as magnificent as they were built and is a testimony to our great grand parents building and engineering skills. Zephyr is looking dapper, and methinks she is extra careful because she doesn't want to get wet. Either way she is a very loyal, considerate and careful companion. I love the way you make your tea, it sounds and looks divine!, I can almost smell the delicious aroma of Rose Petal tea. Thanks again for a lovely half hour of a fascinating journey.😀
My gosh all that wind and rain, the tulips and daffodils held up well. I think we are finally getting some Spring weather too here. Zephyr is such a sweatheart. Lleased you say Zero, and Holly the Narrowboat Café - they have decided to stay on their boats for another 6 months, so maybe coffee and a cake are in the offing. Delightful rose-petal tea, so fragrant. Hope your weather calms down in the next days.
As always a wonderful journey through time and inner thoughts. Contrasting life now with life that had once been! A tribute to the people who came before us... those that have already passed on... people who were separated by time and never had a chance to meet!
That was perhaps the best episode you've made yet. It had everything and the Tunnicliffe-inspired section was fascinating. You are crafting something quite unique with your channel!
Handling a big boat like that on your own in bad weather like that! You’re doing an amazing job sweetheart ! You have my fullest respect! Good luck to you! and stay safe!
I travel with my husband so we handle the boat together. You won’t see him in the vlogs though as his work means that he can’t be on social media as there is a strict code of conduct about it. Thank you so much for watching. Take care🦋🌻
I was so surprised about my flowers too; they really do have Flower Power! 🤩 Thank you for your lovely comment.Have a super rest of the week. Take care 🌻🦋
Absolutely love your journeys, your observation and love of nature, your drawings and writings. Thank you for sharing your adventures on the Alice Grace with dear Zephyr by your side.❤
@@themindfulnarrowboat Hello Vanessa, We will have our ABC boat for a month so the plan is to go anti clockwise (OK I should say counter clockwise and stop pretending I'm not American😄) through the Braunston Tunnel, past Leicester, on to the Trent and Mersey and back to the marina just before Nuneaton. I should consider the Ashby and going to see Coventry. Is it possible we'd make a big change in our lives and buy a boat when we get to Rugby??
Vanessa, your book just came in the mail. It will make a lovely Mother’s Day gift for my mom. Thank you so much. I hope that you, Zeph, and the Mr. have a wonderful week.
Only two biscuits today, which reminded me of my late grandmother in law and her two biscuits a day rule! We impose this on our kids too, passed down through the generations!
Good afternoon Vanessa it’s only me ~ once again I’m waiting on medication so I will watch your Vlog/video in about half an hour - the weather this week has been awful. I’m in Kingston upon Thames on the river it was 21° on Sunday and then on Tuesday it dropped down to 9° very very windy and very rainy - I hope you have a lovely weekend - sending loads of love and loads of hugs ~ Xxx Xxx
It's beautiful to watch ,the journey by boat was amongst trees, overcast clouds makes one love to be there. The thunderstorm in the night and raining in the dawn, led to have a pause ,then again set off was not less interesting, your passion for jacdawas and poesy is unique
Like your use of Broadhurst Swing bridge anti-clockwise, Lefty Loosey & Righty Tighty Very well you keep your eyes & ears open for falling trees, too close for comfort Take care & Stay well ♥
How resilient your outdoor flowers, standing up to hail and gale! And England looks so harmonious seen from the slow glide of the boat. It is really interesting seeing the old illustrations against the present day sites, and how well maintained some buildings and countryside have been. Thank you for sharing the experience.
😊 l thoroughly enjoyed this week's episode with the old and new images, and the classic portrait of the children in their Sunday best having their photograph taken on the boat. Great scenery and wild life how we take things for granted, l saw my first Brood of ducklings swimming passed my window this afternoon such a delight to see and baby lambs bouncing and kicking nature at its best. I'm glad luck was on ur side and u weren't there when the tree blew over. Hope u have a wonderful weekend Vanessa 😊🍪🍪☕️🐕
Hi Simon, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I haven’t seen any ducklings yet! It’s always so wonderful seeing them on the water. I hope you are well? Take care🦋🌻
I find your history lessons fascinating, I'm in Minnesota where typically nothing is older than the mid-late 1800's. Keep up the excellent work, cheers!
Well done! That was a challenge in those conditions, you definitely earned your chocolate biscuits.Very brave parking Alice Grace on an aqueduct in those conditions. Have a quieter week Vanessa.
I love the way you are living life ; on a boat, travelling through luscious countryside, appreciating art , nature, poetry and history, with a lovely Golden Retriever. Its amazing.
i’ve been thoroughly enjoying your channel - your peaceful, kind, and optimistic personality, coupled with gorgeous cinematography, exquisite artistic and literary skill have been balm for my soul while i “navigate” an exceedingly stressful chapter in my life. I was hoping to purchase one of your journals but found your etsy shop “bare”. I’m hoping you will let your viewers know when you restock. Thank you so much for your calming channel.
I hope you are okay, Nancy? I am sad to hear that life is so stressful for you at the moment. Time passes and I hope that this chapter passes for you too so that you can feel happy again soon. Thank you so much for your interest in my book. I will have some more stock by the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
Great episode....i agree it's very picturesque where you are.... Bluebells, and a 5 day storm 😮 Turkish delight is made from Rose water, I believe.....
Thanks very much for the super relaxing Video and showing us snippets of your 'Green and Pleasant Land' and Holly the 'Cafe Boat' also that seems to be back in action. Seeing you snuggled up with the fire on awaiting the storm i get this urge to put the kettle on to make us a cuppa, happy travels and give Zepher a pat for us. Love from Sydney.
I really do look forward to a Friday when there is yet another relaxing Vlog from yourself. Thank goodness no-one was hurt with that fallen tree. Looking forward to next Friday... 🙂
Thanks as always for a lovely video Vanessa. I love storms - when I'm safe and sound at home and can watch through the window! However, I can imagine that it must be a bit scary with all that "weather" going on outside when you're on a boat.
Hi Ruth, it is scary but cosy as long as you’re not moored anywhere dangerous like underneath a big tree. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
Good that Alice Grace is safer there. What extreme weather. Such weirdest time of year. Too many storms. I had enough of them too. So good you have sold lots of your books. Amazing. You find the most amazing old places on your walks. Always interesting.
Glorious winds, rain, lapwings and Jack Daws. How wonderful to think that these Jack Daws are the descendants of the ones that Tunnicliffe saw. The different sorts of locks, swing bridges and bridges is so interesting. Glad you and Zephyr missed the falling tree. Thanks for another lovely vlog Vanessa. Safe journeys :)😍
Hi Wendy, I got goosebumps when I saw the jackdaws in the same place that Tunnicliffe saw them. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
This is the most beautiful narrowboat vlog that I've seen. Amazing. Thanks for making such lovely videos. Your artwork is wonderful. I would definitely like to buy some of your journals.
Ah! Chocolate Digestives this week I notice. I often wondered whether Zephr ever jumped ship if she spotted something of interest, but she is a very well behaved dog, with a very responsible owner. Just like dogs in cars, she loves to look out over the side in order to see what's around. Thanks for the video journey x
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. There was one episode a while back when Zephyr thought we were pulling into the side and she got off, but then we couldn’t pick her up again because there were trolleys in the canal blocking us. It’s the Kidderminster vlog. She was so good and just followed us until we could pull in at the side. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
Hello there, thank you for sharing this video with me. I’m very grateful. [Warning - waffle ahead] I just wanted to say that I live in Sydney, New South Wales. Australia. I live close to the CBD (about a 15-20 minute walk) in a suburb called Camperdown. And, EVERY year we have a pair of lapwings arrive. One day they are there, happily pecking away together on the lawn. I live in a low rise apartment building alongside other apartment blocks. The lovely thing is, we have a large central “green”. Surrounded by trees and mass native plantings. I’ve been here for over 10 years now and the “village green” is used for community gatherings at Christmas and other public holiday celebrations. But without fail, every year, the lapwing pair will show up. I might only see them half a dozen times, when they visit, but I’m always happy when I do. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and adventures (especially those Bluebells, they were great and those Jackdaws were AMAZING). 🙂🐿🌈❤️ P.s if you had actually found one of his sketches....I was going to scream 😂❤
I so wanted to find one of his sketches! Your lapwing story is beautiful. It must be wonderful to see them arrive. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
Just Discovered your Channel,WOW what a great one!!!!.So nice to just sit back with a cuppa and just enjoy a snippet of your lifestyle, such a talent as well. Many Thanks for sharing all this with us.
The weather as been really challenging just lately. The Macclesfield canal is beautiful. Just need some good weather to properly enjoy it now. The challenges make us stronger though
It has been challenging up here but so, so beautiful 🤩 I am stunned every day by this Canal. Thank you for your lovely comment, Paul. Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
You’ve got some lovely spring flowers on the bow of your boat. I was just thinking, I think that’s near where Victor and Jo moor their cafe boat Holly and then Holly the cafe boat came into view. The Macclesfield is a beautiful canal but boy oh boy it looked very windy! Wow that tree was a close shave! Stay safe Vanessa, Mr Mindful and Zephyr, better weather is just around the corner. xxx
Hi Shirley, it was exciting passing Holly the Cafe Boat; I just missed their opening times. After I saw where that tree had come down, I shuddered. It’s so sad to see a tree come down too😢 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🌻🦋
What a beautiful country, a great home, a very happy companion and a wonderful life. Amazing attitude. How very special and what a great way to live. Enjoy and, while you don’t know me, I will be along with you for part of your amazing journey.
You stopped and moored in a very exposed place there Vanessa on top of Bollington aqueduct. I don’t expect you got much sleep but I can understand you stopping when you did. Sorry Bollington had such terrible weather for you. Sun shone this morning and then it’s raining again. There are a lot of noisy jackdaws round here. They fall down people’s chimneys sometimes as there are a lot of chimneys around here and they decimate the bird feeders as they come in a little gang. Very successful while other garden birds are declining sadly. Enjoy the rest of the Macclesfield. 🌻
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Marilyn. The Aqueduct was not the most sheltered but it was still beautiful. Oh those poor Jackdaws, they do like a chimney 🙈 Take care🦋🌻
I just happened upon your video this evening and am impressed that as a woman, you own a narrowboat and guide it through different canals....... And you are very gifted in your drawing ability......and quote poetry, which I love. What a wonderful life you have and I love that you share stories of places you visit. I live in northern Calif and have always loved the English countryside. Thank you for generously sharing yourself and your journeys and lovely dog with your fans.....I am now one of them.
Hi Vanessa it's Friday again and time for another peaceful and relaxing vlog. Me and my other half love them full of information and good entertainment value. You're drawings at the end are really wonderful. Thanks a lot Vanessa and Zephyr. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington in Cumbria.
Glad you made it safely through the storm !!! They mentioned it on a news platform I read, and you crossed my mind, hoping you, Zep, Mr. M and Alice Grace would be ok … love the area you are travelling. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Very lucky you were on the tow path after that fallen tree. How scary it could have been. Very old houses. Too many challenges. I hope there is somewhere suitable to stop. Poor you. Also sorry for Zephyr. Hope she feels safe now.
I went to help my ex mother in law this morning, was only there 30 min or so and when I went to leave there was a tree fallen across the driveway, I’m so thankful it didn’t hit my car ! I just love the old buildings and bridges, we don’t have that old of structures here in the USA but even the 200 yr old stuff they want to tear down for some reason 😡 I think that goose thought you had treats for him and I also think Zyphyr was over the storms and ready to go play in the mud puddles ❤️❤️❤️ Glad your safe and well ✨
Oh my goodness what a lucky escape you had too! I am so pleased that the tree didn't do any damage. Thank you for your lovely comment.Have a super rest of the week. Take care 🌻🦋
Wow. What weather we've all been having... Lovely to see you all set up and cosy while it battered us all. Take care. We love your love of all things nature and the countryside. Xx
I had to stop the video as there was a storm approaching us. Went and shut all the doors, but not before a tremendous crack of thunder sent my cat scurrying for her hidey hole in my wardrobe. 🙂 I called and an outside cat appeared at my door to come in before the downpour commenced. Safe mooring.
My word you sure were lucy with that tree and so glad you were safe from the storm grand vlog and loved the history from following the book all tc now the oldies 🤞🌹🥀🌷
Nice vlog Vanessa. Fancy your dog more safety conscious, than you lol, Good to see you "chilling" on your sofa, that's a first. Will we ever see you doing any D.I.Y. on your boat, or cooking. We're always outside with you. But we do love you whatever, see you soon 😊 ❤xx
Hi Glenn, thank you for your lovely comment. D.I.Y would be hilarious to watch as I am absolutely useless at it!😂 I’ve filmed me cooking in some of the older vlogs, but I don’t cook anything that is special enough to film. I’ll give it some thought though. Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
What a storm, some hail falling there, you could almost get seasick on a narrow boat with that wind. At least you were cozy inside and what views from that aqueduct! 😊
I love your work in making these vlogs, they’re incredibly well shot, narrated and edited. Your boat handling in those winds is impressive too. 👍💪 Have a great weekend.
Another great vlog, the peril of winds and storms, the way you take whatever the elements that are thrown at you in your stride, is a joy to observe, and the relaxing moment of you inside the boat was so calming.Adventure at its best
I'm sure it's no fun to have to outrun a storm, but there's something a bit magical about living so close to nature that you adjust your daily life and movements to its rhythms.

I hope your Mother likes it. Thank you so much for buying it. Have a super weekend, take care 🌻🦋
Only two biscuits today, which reminded me of my late grandmother in law and her two biscuits a day rule! We impose this on our kids too, passed down through the generations!
She sounds like a sensible lady! 🤩 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
I know that area well as I went to university there. It’s a beautiful part if the country. Wishing you well, Louise. Take care 🦋🌻
It's beautiful to watch ,the journey by boat was amongst trees, overcast clouds makes one love to be there.
The thunderstorm in the night and raining in the dawn, led to have a pause ,then again set off was not less interesting, your passion for jacdawas and poesy is unique
Cruising in storms and rain is so exciting and dramatic for me; I love it!Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super week. Take care 🌻🦋
What wonderful talents you have. Thank you for sharing your life with us. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe.🙏🇦🇺👍
That is so kind of you. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
Vanneso jesteś cudowną Kobietą! Podziwiam Cię i zazdroszczę życia jakie prowadzisz To wszystko jest piękne ❤
Thank you so much for your kindness. I really appreciate it. Take care 🦋🌻
Like your use of Broadhurst Swing bridge anti-clockwise, Lefty Loosey & Righty Tighty
Very well you keep your eyes & ears open for falling trees, too close for comfort
Take care & Stay well ♥
It was a lucky escape. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🦋🌻
How resilient your outdoor flowers, standing up to hail and gale! And England looks so harmonious seen from the slow glide of the boat. It is really interesting seeing the old illustrations against the present day sites, and how well maintained some buildings and countryside have been. Thank you for sharing the experience.
My daffodils and tulips had flower power didn’t they!😂 Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
Take care🦋🌻
Am so glad I found this series! Thank you!
That is so kind of you. Thank you for finding me! Take care🦋🌻
I find your history lessons fascinating, I'm in Minnesota where typically nothing is older than the mid-late 1800's. Keep up the excellent work, cheers!
I’m so pleased that you enjoy the history. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
A wonderful magic, life thank you for sharing, keep safe. :)
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Take care 🦋🌻
Your narrowboat is such a cozy place to weather out the storm. Thank you for bringing us Jackdaws and Bluebells.
It is so cosy being inside a boat in a storm . Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
Well done! That was a challenge in those conditions, you definitely earned your chocolate biscuits.Very brave parking Alice Grace on an aqueduct in those conditions. Have a quieter week Vanessa.
Hi Nigel, that aqueduct is amazing isn’t it? Great views from the top. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
I love the way you are living life ; on a boat, travelling through luscious countryside, appreciating art , nature, poetry and history, with a lovely Golden Retriever. Its amazing.
I am so pleased that you are enjoying the vlogs. Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
i’ve been thoroughly enjoying your channel - your peaceful, kind, and optimistic personality, coupled with gorgeous cinematography, exquisite artistic and literary skill have been balm for my soul while i “navigate” an exceedingly stressful chapter in my life. I was hoping to purchase one of your journals but found your etsy shop “bare”. I’m hoping you will let your viewers know when you restock.
Thank you so much for your calming channel.
Isn’t it wonderful, it’s like my little escape while watching !!!
I hope you are okay, Nancy? I am sad to hear that life is so stressful for you at the moment. Time passes and I hope that this chapter passes for you too so that you can feel happy again soon. Thank you so much for your interest in my book. I will have some more stock by the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
Thank you ☺️🌻🦋
Thank you for the solitude
That is very kind of you 😊 Take care 🌻🦋
It was a pleasure to join you on your calm wonderful journey, you really are a beautiful soul..x
What a kind comment. Thank you for joining the journey. Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
Lovely video again ... Thanks.
Thank you so much, Peter! Take care🦋🌻
Great episode....i agree it's very picturesque where you are....
Bluebells, and a 5 day storm 😮
Turkish delight is made from Rose water, I believe.....
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Yum, Turkish Delight😋 tastier than rose petal tea- that’s for sure😂 Take care 🌻🦋
That is so kind of you- I am so pleased that you enjoyed the vlog. Have a super week. Take care 🌻🦋
I really do look forward to a Friday when there is yet another relaxing Vlog from yourself.
Thank goodness no-one was hurt with that fallen tree.
Looking forward to next Friday... 🙂
It was so lucky that no one was near that tree when it fell. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
There are some great places to explore. Take care🌻🦋
What a kind comment, Lucy! Thank you so much. Take care🌻🦋
Love your videos! So informative & beautiful! You are an excellent artist❤ from an older couple retired in North Carolina USA
Thank you so much 😊 Take care🌻🦋
I luv your penmanship! Goes perfect with your drawing... safe travels!
That is so kind of you. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
Hello there, thank you for sharing this video with me. I’m very grateful.
[Warning - waffle ahead]
I just wanted to say that I live in Sydney, New South Wales.
🙂🐿🌈❤️
P.s if you had actually found one of his sketches....I was going to scream 😂❤
I so wanted to find one of his sketches! Your lapwing story is beautiful. It must be wonderful to see them arrive. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
The fallen tree is empirical evidence of my belief that life is a matter of seconds and inches my dear. I always look forward to your vlogs.
Very wise words. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
Just Discovered your Channel,WOW what a great one!!!!.So nice to just sit back with a cuppa and just enjoy a snippet of your lifestyle, such a talent as well. Many Thanks for sharing all this with us.
Welcome to the channel and thank you so much for such a kind comment too. Take care 🦋🌻
And the flowers rode it out 💐
Yes they did! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
What a beautiful country, a great home, a very happy companion and a wonderful life. Amazing attitude. How very special and what a great way to live. Enjoy and, while you don’t know me, I will be along with you for part of your amazing journey.
That is so kind of you- thank you so much 😊 Take care🌻🦋
That is so kind of you, Pamela! Thank you so much. Take care🦋🌻
sounds like two on board..
Hi Vanessa it's Friday again and time for another peaceful and relaxing vlog. Me and my other half love them full of information and good entertainment value. You're drawings at the end are really wonderful.

Thank you 😊 Take care🦋🌻
Glad you made it safely through the storm !!! They mentioned it on a news platform I read, and you crossed my mind, hoping you, Zep, Mr. M and Alice Grace would be ok … love the area you are travelling. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
It has been very windy and wet but we are all fine and safe. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. Take care🌻🦋

That is so kind of you, Paul. Thank you so much 😊 Take care 🌻🦋
Very lucky you were on the tow path after that fallen tree. How scary it could have been. Very old houses. Too many challenges. I hope there is somewhere suitable to stop. Poor you. Also sorry for Zephyr. Hope she feels safe now.
Zephyr feels safe and warm now. Thank you for your concern. Take care🦋🌻
Hello, I was glad to see my old dog Co Co , as you passed by at Dane Moss😊
That was your lovely dog! Give CoCo a hug from me. Thank you for watching. Take care 🌻🦋🐾🐾🤗
I went to help my ex mother in law this morning, was only there 30 min or so and when I went to leave there was a tree fallen across the driveway, I’m so thankful it didn’t hit my car !
I just love the old buildings and bridges, we don’t have that old of structures here in the USA but even the 200 yr old stuff they want to tear down for some reason 😡
I think that goose thought you had treats for him and I also think Zyphyr was over the storms and ready to go play in the mud puddles ❤️❤️❤️
Glad your safe and well ✨
Oh my goodness what a lucky escape you had too! I am so pleased that the tree didn't do any damage. Thank you for your lovely comment.Have a super rest of the week. Take care 🌻🦋
Nice perspective on life !
Love the pup and the boat.

Wow. What weather we've all been having...
Lovely to see you all set up and cosy while it battered us all.
Take care. We love your love of all things nature and the countryside. Xx
It’s so cosy in the boat during a storm. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
How spooky that you were in a storm too. Cats are so perceptive aren’t they? Take care🦋🌻
My word you sure were lucy with that tree and so glad you were safe from the storm grand vlog and loved the history from following the book all tc now the oldies 🤞🌹🥀🌷
It was such a lucky escape, Ann! 😅 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
Your vlogs are beautiful, thank you for sharing them.
That is so kind of you. Thank you so much for watching. Take care🦋🌻
Take care🦋🌻
I really like the chocolate covered biscuits!
So do I! Thank you for watching. Take care 🌻🦋
What a storm, some hail falling there, you could almost get seasick on a narrow boat with that wind. At least you were cozy inside and what views from that aqueduct! 😊
I did make me feel a bit sick to be honest! Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🦋🌻
When Riley the dog here's your voice he comes running into my room to watch the animals.
Please give a big hug to Riley from me! 🐾🐾🤗 Thank you for watching. Take care 🦋🌻
I really enjoy your videos and your lovely journaling keep on travelling
That is so kind of you!Thank you so much for watching. Take care 🦋🌻

Your boat handling in those winds is impressive too. 👍💪
Have a great weekend.
That is so kind of you, Mark. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
Poor Mr Mindfull never gets any tea and biscuits Lol....
😂 He’s at work when I do my journal, and there is a large supply of tea and biscuits there. Thank you for watching and commenting. Take care 🌻🦋
Another great vlog, the peril of winds and storms, the way you take whatever the elements that are thrown at you in your stride, is a joy to observe, and the relaxing moment of you inside the boat was so calming.Adventure at its best
That is so kind of you. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super rest of the weekend. Take care🦋🌻
