Somewhere Edna Mode is losing her mind at all these capes
HAHAHAGAHHAJAJAJAHAHAHAHAHAH
😂😂😂 Not just me...👍
you don't get that much capes spinning at Universal studio park...
OMG I STAN THIS COMMENT
dude i wish i would have thought of that lol
Lol
Finally some footage! It's nowhere near me!
Sarah Riddle this about as good as it gets
KAOTICKCRAZYMAN so is it not that good or is this an example of how amazing the rest of it is?
Imo this is about as good as theatre gets (in a good way). I LOVED this play so much, it got me as excited as I was when I watched the philosophers stone for the first time in the cinema as a kid . I really loved how most the audience were house representing,.
Fran Christy awesome! I admittedly will not turn down an opportunity to see it, but I feel like I’d be in torment the entire time because I NEED TO PLAY DELPHI...um...pardon the dramatic outburst maybe this will explain it...my user is my real name.🙃
Sarah Riddle 😉😉.
Luckily for me it came to Australia, it’s still quite far from where I live (like 2 plane rides) but HOT DAMN if I’m not going to see it again!😝
My brain cells during a exam.
My brain cels always 😆
Man what I wouldn't give for a dvd release; it'd be awesome!
Some people just don't have thei money to see the stage show
Amanda Moquin Oh I already saw it . Saving up again is a nightmare XD
@@itsamoquin not everyone can go to NY/London/Melbourne/San Francisco. Especially for people in third world country. Even if we save up until we can buy the show tickets, we still need the flight tickets. And not to mention the visa requirements. Countries like UK, Australia, and US required a proof of bank account before we can get the visa. It's not as easy as "just save up"
@@wdrh03 and even if you live in those countries it can still be expensive to fly nationally
@@itsamoquin oooh your privilege is showing
Amanda Moquin Excuse me but you should stop telling us to save up. Your privilege is showing.
Most of us in third world countries don’t earn more than 1000$ a month. Heck, I know people who barely make it past 300$. We have bills to pay, and you’re being like tHerE iS sTiLL tImE fOr u tO sAvE uP???
Honey,,, just shut up. Your privileged ass doesn’t know anything about how we live here in third world countries. Even if I work same job you’re working in the US, it would probably pay less, because of different wage standards and exchange rate.
Your ignorance disgusts me tbh.
costume designers: so how many capes do we need-
directors: *y e s*
The music for cursed child is so good
I have been obsessed with Cape Swoops since I saw it the first time. I'm glad they added that all in with this montage. Cape Swoops are so important throughout the show.
same i loved it i was like more cape swoops please!!
They really need to release this as one of those Live Theatre shows in movie theatres around the world. That way those who aren't able to afford the trip can still watch it.
I remember first hearing the original version of this called “Cycle Song” on her album Sparks. It’s really awesome to see that a lot of her music catalog is interwoven into the score of this show. It makes the music familiar and honestly a walk down memory lane for Imogen Heap fans.
THAT'S WHY IT SOUNDS SO FAMILIAR omg I'm like 'I swear Immi has done this though? Why can't I recall the name?'
I loved that Climb to Sakteng and First Train Home were included. And Cycle Song was my favourite. The music was brilliant in the play.
as an intense potter AND imogen fan, I somehow only just found out today that she did the music for the play and I have been freaking out about it all day listening through it multiple times. I honestly get weirdly emotional hearing her old tracks woven into the music, there's something so intensely magical and satisfying about it
My fiancé and I saw cursed child over the weekend in San Francisco. I didn’t have much expectations going into it. But man this experience was truly magical, I’m 30 years old and I haven’t felt this magical feeling since I was a kid when The films first came out.
This play is SEVERELY underrated! I saw it both on Broadway and West End and I loved every minute of it (Even the writing)! And this is coming from someone who is a huge theater fan AND Harry Potter fan! 👍👍👍👍👍
The book reeked and didn't follow the lore of the story but it would be great to see
@Adam Efimoff nothing can save that load of garbage
@Adam Efimoff wth are you talking about, the shortened version is so much better! They changed so many of the scenes I disliked in the book I hope if they ever do release it on dvd they will either keep the changes or simply go with the shortened version.
Imogen Heap's music really made this show for me :)
Nobody can flip their cape like Severus Snape. What a nice tribute.❤️
seeing this in person was such a magical experience. i don’t know how else to describe it!!!!
ワンドダンスまじで大好き、何度でも見れる
先日東京でみてきました!ワクワクが止まらなかった!!
Literally my favourite part of seeing the show live. It was beautiful and the movement/dancing was so clever
I remember watching Sam Clement at this scene... So freaking amazing. I'll be going again on November to Broadway and I'm so excited.
This gave me CHILLS when I saw it live!
この音楽好きになった!
Just saw this a week ago on Broadway. Unbelievably amazing.
The key is comfort. A happy wizard doesn't question -> flight.
I saw the show in Hamburg and it is truly amazing. Stunning effects, light, sound... Really felt like I experienced magic :)
I saw the cursed child in Australia and this is so well performed on stage I was shocked with everything that made the play feel like a movie
I remember seeing this in the Princess Theatre in Melbourne (travelling down from Sydney to see it) and can I say it was absolutely amazing! This play is a serious must recommend for all potterheads!
I was in lyric theater nyc
I want to see it there so bad but I live in Brisbane and Melbourne is too far away 😭
This take me back to when I saw it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
really hoping that there will be a dvd recording of the show so i can experience the show again. god if i had the money i'd go see it again. 110% worth the money
seen this live twice and both times I just had goosebumps. The choreography is simply amazing, the soundtrack as well is so good. Worth saving up for
Absolutely stunning!!!!! Why hasn't this got million views already???😍😍😍😍
My favorite part of the show is this!
I loved seeing this in NYC it was so amazing and I can’t wait to see it again in SF!!!
Absolutely brilliant! Also the fact that it’s in a 9/4 time signature is making my musical brain happy XD
Brilliant!!!
this show is simply stunning
It's too beautiful
i love this so much
It's amazing
A Very Potter Musical?? Huh??
Pigfarts, pigfarts...

@@hotterthanu1240 Rumbleroar is the Headmaster at Pigfarts. He's a lion.
Those people are a amazing. I may not like the story but i would watch this play just to see the cast. Truly amazing
I saw this yesterday, it was incredible!
Had no idea they did the score for this play, but I hear them in it now!! Totally going to find this on Spotify!

Omggg!! Woow😍😍😍
It’s 10 times as amazing in real life
Amazing 😃

Me:

Brings back memories when I saw Cursed Child in London in 2016
OMG!!! That so crazy and so cool😎
Watching cursed child was a really
magical experience and this was one of my favourite parts... takes me straight back to the theatre. I love that it’s starring the UK cast since I watched this same version ♥️
Why is this literally the funniest thing ever to me
The one and only good thing about this is..... FLIPENDO IS NOW CANNON!
Scorpius ahhh 💕
I can watch this a million times and never get bored
Same
Man I really wanna do a cape swoop now
First time I heard Imogen Heap was in a video about Remus Lupin with her song Glittering Cloud.
I want to see it 😍😍😍😭😭😭
REEEEEEE OMG I WANNA SEE IT AGAINNNN
The wand chooses the wizard
Woah
brings back vivid memories from december last year when i saw in for my birthday 💚🖤
LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! wish a montage of Godrics Hollow at Halloween was uploaded, it was such a perrfectly beautiful scene. JUST MAGICAL!!!
La musique fout des méga friss ❤❤❤❤❤de joie au galop qui gon jinn ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I saw this cast!
I bought the book when I first came out and someone gave me the soundtrack. I've been thinking about how this dance would work for months and how this show would look for years...
With this little morsel I've been given, you do not disappoint.
The play live was amazing!!!
Someday i'll see it in person :')
Me to 😍😭
i want those wand so bad.
Another reason to go and get your tickets now.
Quand willi wonka trouve la chocolatière de son coeur ils ont pleins de bébés wonka kiss ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
💕💫
WHY AM I ONLY SEEING THIS NOW WHAT THE-
Why do I hear “Safety Dance” by Men Without Hats in my head?
We saw the show (in consecutive nights) this week in San Francisco. It's quite an experience and Ms. Heap's background score is perfect.
my thoughts at night 😛😤
I love those cloaks!!!
Cool
Awaiting more *music* videos from cursed child!!!! Plzzz....
The soundtrack is amazing...
i badly wanna see Cursed Child. I'm just not living where they are doing these shows
How do they make the fire come from the tips of the wands like that?
MAGIC
The key to comfort is forgiveness and asking for forgiveness (because theGod (mathematically proven)).
Imogen Heap xoxoxox
Remember.
This is not following up the Warner Bros Harry Potter this is just the regular Harry Potter itself.
If you dont know Warner Bros didnt make Harry Potter they just followed the novels made by the other author.
That is also the reason famous Harry Potter Music is not in this show.
I. Want. To. See. This. SHOW.
Blue devils 2019 Ghostlight !!
It's a shame that there's no dvd! Many people from other countries than USA and Great Britain couldn't afford to such a expensive journey (our currency makes cost almost impossible) I wish I could see it!
Let's learn the choreography 💙💙
Let’s just put on the whole thing! I call Delphi! Come on: I’m the perfect age, and name and...ahem I may have said too much😂🙃
Sarah Riddle okay, I call Rose Granger Weasley then!?
👍
Why couldn't they have done this at the tri wizard championship instead of singing each on a different pace
Le cheval de willi wonka kiss ce serait un cristal couleur cookie avec des magic blue eyes ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Did anybody notice that they changed the Hogwarts uniform, the jumpers are now different colours according to the student’s house and the cloak looks more modern looking sort of like a blazer cloak mix, the rest is the same
the sweater change is so that people far away can tell what house they are
I really wish this song is the new Hogwarts anthem
What is happening in the play during this scene? I am confused by what I am watching.
This video shows different scenes it seems, but the actual 'Wand Dance' is this beautiful sequence in part one where all the students are learning spells (so when watching this video, it's when the wand seems to be flinging the students about and when their acting with their wands, the shots of the adults and not the Hogwarts students is a different moment). I feel like the sequence kind of acts as a montage to show the students as they develop their skills with magic throughout the year. One thing to note is that the actor who plays Albus is usually one step behind all the other students in the dance, showcasing his struggles with magic, and at one point he even gets his wand stuck in the floor. It's one of the most beautiful sequences of the play. Going into it I had no idea how they would showcase the wand magic, and this was the first major moment and it was beautiful and really highlighted the wonder of learning to cast magic. There are actually a number of scenes in the play where there is dancing with the capes, and they are all so cool, and actually aid in the storytelling.
Lizzie Stewart thank you so much for the explanation. I wish I could support the story because seeing the universe come to life would be incredible. Unfortunately I have too many issues with it. But this clip really is gorgeous.
I read the script book and I thought it wasn't bad, but I can see why people don't like it. But I think that when you see it all on stage, it might look really impressive as it does in this video. IF ONLY I COULD SEE IT FOR MYSELF!
You’re right, it’s SO impressive onstage. It’s absolutely gorgeous, I really hope you get a chance to see it someday! ❤️
@@jennifercaitlinroberts Question: Is it better than in the book?
its obviously not as good as seeing it irl but i have the original cast show link if u want that?
sunfxler. can i have the link? (:
@@missingu2745 I don't want to publicly put it here in case it's deleted, do u have an email I can send it to?
