  • This video is perfected for those of you who know the Hebrew alphabet and are looking to jump into acquiring the basics of the language. In this lesson we will be learning what a PA'AL verb is and how to form the infinitive of PA'AL verbs, since, as we go over in the lesson, Hebrew verbs do NOT appear in the dictionary in their infinitive form, as is the case in English. We will also be learning how to say things like "I like," "I need," "I want," etc., so that we can use infinitives in sentences. I hope you find this Hebrew lesson useful!
By the way, for those of you still learning the Hebrew alphabet, I will be continuing to release those lessons as well :)

So glad to hear! Do I remember correctly that you had been studying Hebrew for a while without having learned the alphabet? Have you started learning it yet? :)

So actually no I have not, I have pretty much just been relying on English romanization and listening to sounds. I really need to start in both the Arabic and Hebrew script but mainly my goals have been speaking and being able to hold conversations so I haven’t focused as much on learning the alphabet for either. But I know I need to! 😊 I was actually thinking of watching your videos to learn how to read the Hebrew script, I saw you have a playlist for that too and also I think it would actually help me in speaking as well.

Haha I’ve definitely been guilty of that with various languages. Honestly though I would really encourage you to learn them because you’ll have access to so much more learning material. Good luck :)
