ADAM SHEPHERD Yeah, I have still heard nothing anywhere near as powerful as Valve. Heard (endured?) it, in 2003 also. Was astonishingly heavy bass, which words can not even begin to describe.
One of the most exhilarating experiences in my life was experiencing the valve sound system. The air was physically engetic in the room. However the most impressive part was the end of the night I walked out without the usual tinnitus effect (literally couldnt believe it). True engineering at its best!

All I know is he's used the Capone alias occasionally as well, but I don't think he's made too much lately. His stuff's become kinda modern jump-up oriented which I guess can be either a positive or a negative depending on the listener
Yeah it's controversial, but I do agree.. a lot of what I'd call "filler" on the album.. yes, his patented break is dope and all, but it does get a bit tired after a while. I disagree about Grimey though.. still rips it any time I give it a run. "Thugs" is also insane, but my favourite track of his would have to be Tudor Rose (as Capone).. so good. Plus some of his remixes.. the "Splash - Babylon" remix, and "The Lighter - djSS" remix too.. not to mention all his old skool, stripped back, almost industrial sounding earlier stuff on Metal Headz, but that's a whole different conversation :) Big up
First time I ever heard Grimey.. saw DJ Craze play many, many years ago, and after an hour or so of hiphop/ breaks turntable trickery, he cut right in with Grimey and it was funny as fuck to see half the crowd go nuts, and the other half (the hiphop heads) just look very, very confused :)

how much time has passed, and this track has remained one of the most beloved.
