I would probably say that selling most of the vehicles at the beginning is good way to get enough startnig money. I had like 7 vehicles already and used only three, so sold the others. But the tip of your with moving invetory to base camp before leaving is great, didnt thought about that.
@BuckeyeBunny if the missions had an impact that I could feel or see or benefit from, then I would want to do it more. In snowrunner, some missions result in bridges being built and road obstacles to be cleared. Doing these little jobs makes doing the bigger jobs easier to plan and execute later on. Snowrunner brings so much to the table that can make or break your experience, whereas in expeditions, it just feels like go here and do this just because. There's no feeling of accomplishment. It feels like a nicely detailed game that is missing something huge inside. The other gripe i have is the user interface. Yikes.

You can use multiple anchors and stay attached to the previous while attaching to another using the option wheel to select the winch. Very useful when climbing over large rocks
use high range when possible. it stops the trucks trying to shift into 2nd gear when climbing causing it to stop. high range has plenty of torque for climbing.
Tip I discovered recently. Each objective or expedition tells you the distance you will be traveling. And each vehicle tells you how far it can travel on the amount of gas it can carry. So plan accordingly
Oh dear...sounds like you had a rough start. 😂 But the specialists are indeed OP, especially the extra drone distance and fuel capacity. Wise advice. ♥

There are a few missions that made me want to cry. 🤣 But the others are pretty chill once you get better gear and learn to bring multiple trucks with you. ♥

That happened to me, and so I started bringing at least two vehicles with me (and extra fuel). You can always drive the second to you and transfer fuel.
No, once you end the expedition, you are forced to sell your anchors and jack screws back at 50% the purchase price, so it's wise to store them in your base for later use before ending the mission.

So there is a type of reusable anchor, notated by circular arrows on the icon I believe. I'm not aware that you can buy them, but there is one in the air drop just outside your outpost on Little Colorado map. Not sure where to find them on the other maps just yet. :)
@@BuckeyeBunny Right. I just couldn't find where to add them. I found it. Felt kind of dumb after i found where to load them in for the expedition mission.. Thank you for the reply.
So far, I have not had to pay, but I've heard others talk about paying for it, so I'm thinking the fee might be added as you progress into the game farther.
I understand why they made recovery not free for realism but it's not practical for the game especially since money is a rare quantity. So far I like the game even if it's glitch but it needs more maps .
The area scout objective needs a little work. But yeah, drone helps atleast and i learned this the hard way lol. Driving around a huge map just to get that last 1% xDD Subbed and would love to play coop with you soon once they release it
I mainly go for survival games, but I got this game with zero regrets. If like me, you invert the Y-axis or up/down controller option, you can turn it on in settings, but it's not working when I use the binoculars and drone. Is anyone here experiencing this?
