May I know the temperature range after you install this temperature meter? My alza just done the top head troubleshooting, after install the temperature meter, mine reading is 90 dec C +/-, but the original car temperature sensor no trigger the overheat symbol. It's something wrong? BTW, I think my original temperature sensor is work, when I start the engine both of temperatures symbols got light up.

Yeah i guess you can put it near your battery. Or somewhere above the fenders towards the sides of the engine bay where its not so hot but it wont be so loud. If u can face it to the front it would be good maybe replace the original horn area but not sure if it would fit.
wow even my 2004 hyundai accent have OBD2, perodua really suck...viva also don't have temp gauge, thanks for sharing, but i think better you get OBD1 to OBD2 connector (just my opinion)
Well done!! Subscribed! I just installed android player, reverse camera and quck charger on my alza too. And thinking of 2nd water temperature gauge. I remembered this small thin digital themometer gauge for motorcycle. So i dont really know if it can be used on car. Then i stumbled to ur video! Very clear instructions, and great for noob like me. Btw is it okay to seal that aircond air inlet?
@@jh-ow2zd i was told by some old timer foremans to gradually change into "take air front outside mode" to prevent mold build up/smelly air inside the car. Have u ever heard of that.
Fuel filter for Alza is inside the fuel tank. Access is from inside the car under the back seat on the left side. Unfortunately i cant find anyone selling the fuel filter. I think it is only sold with a new fuel pump. So you suppose to change the filter but i cant find it sold anywhere and most people will only change it when the fuel pump gets spoilt. But maybe u should ask inside the Alza forum and see if anyone else has managed to find where to get the fuel filter.

90+ is normal. Can go up to 95+ but must be below 100

Many people seal the air cond inlet because its hardly used. Sealing it also has the benefit of keeping dust out of your air cond cooling coil.

@@jh-ow2zd yep. So far...my alza already 10years old. Never done any service to my air-conditioning system. Still perfoms well and no odor.

@@jh-ow2zd I have a Myvi at home and it is the same. They don't sell the fuel filter separately.
@@kimsoon80 same thing i noticed. Most people use until fuel pump spoilt then change whole thing.
