I would love to see "blinders"option in future updates. It really helps a lot to new players with motion sickness. Keep up the great work. Imho TAVR is the best VR A shooter and honestly your choice of graphics is extremely good! This style is simple so it does not age really 👍
Imagine one guy made a very decent looking walking/leg animation in this game while a multi-million dollar company who bought Onward that still can't fix it or make it look right.
I'd play so much more of this game if there was more of a community and multiplayer was more active. It needs way more awareness in the VR community. This is currently without a doubt the best tactical vr gameplay.
The only problem I have is that people go on some cod kill streak team kill run in pregame lobby so it takes like 20 minutes before everyone decides to chill out and start the game
They actually whispered Khalid come here in Arabic to get Khalid off the stairs which was Osama's last line of defense basically then the seals proceeded up the stairs to take out Osama
the AI in this game is surprisingly good. the only thing I hate is how they can randomly spawn behind you even if you cleared the area. there was one mission that was infuriating because the enemies kept spawming basically on top of the extraction point.
yes I would love to see this as well. For me RoN is the best tactical shooter on the market when it comes to non VR games (it can actually be played with the UEVR - didnt try it yet though) But I dont think TAVR will get such AI anytime soon. It is the most complicated thing in games.
I've played both, and I have much more fun with the AI in this game and would even go as far as to say this game has better AI. They've been consistently good, with really only one flaw. It could be that being in VR makes the experience with them better, but I don't think that's the case. I've been ambushed, they can prone, hide in rooms, crouch beneath furniture and then surprise you, etc. Really think they're better than RoN, which is crazy because that's 1 dev vs the entire RoN dev team..
If anything I’d love for them to react to more than just gun shots, especially lights/lasers. They are kinda deaf/blind until you shoot at them, or they are Chris Kyle from 100m away. No in between lol
Some people still can’t believe it when I tell them this game is made by 1 person ( although technically there are a couple of them but they are people who help out because they are players I.E puddle who designed the weapons and gives them to Jarvis to put in the game ) it’s actually unbelievable that there are people who can do this type of stuff and big game companies can’t compare
Because larger companies aren’t even in the vr scene because vr has been lacking and is only just starting to peak large dev team’s interest. All so the biggest games are not single dev games.
@@blvckl0tcs750 there are plenty of big projects for VR that are not single dev, and the single dev games are much better, that is my point. I would guess the problem is studios playing too safe with VR.
Fun Fact for you pairs: Im not sure about the AUG- but every AR platform rifle chambered in 5.56 in this game have compatible mags. So the M4 Urgi, MK18, and The HK416 have mag interchangeability. It has saved me an my buddies in certain times. also just found out yesterday the mk12 mags are also compatible with the ones stated previously.
I don’t know if it’s possible but if this game could come up with a feature or a monitor that does helmet cam and switches over to first person so you could get those optic cam shots would be pretty cool

Ready or Not is a flatscreen PC game that is more or less the same thing as TAVR. Price is kind of hefty, but there’s a lot of content there and continued support from the devs.
I've seem this game played a lot, but this video made my pull the trigger and pick it up. Such and awesome game. I was certainly not disappointed. This might become my new go to. Cheers!
This game needs hand to hand combat that lets you disarm the npcs and either kill them with the gun or hold them hostage or block and dodge punches and fight them and you can tackle them through doors and use them ass body shields
Unfortunately, I cannot get the gun stock calibration to work for me. There is a setting that says that you can adjust the angle by pressing up and down arrows, however pressing those arrows does nothing.
Have you tried the U.S Infantry mod for door kickers 2. It comes with USMC, U.S Army, and USMC recon. Every single infantryman is only half a unit making it easier to use actual infantry fireteam doctrine with more troops involved.
ill always say it, i think VR is just the furture when it comes to gun manipulation and tactical games, its just so hard to achieve this level of control on a standard controller
Was able to play the new map a few times and absolutely love it! I went in blind avoiding all spoilers, as soon as I entered the main building it was such a cool ass experience!
This must be totally awesome. I don't have vr but I do use a tobii eye tracker and I play arma 3 religiously because it's got excellent Tobii support. People will often say head and eye tracking is not well suited for first person shooters but this could not be further from the truth. You just have to get it set up properly for you and you have to take the time to practice. Unfortunately I don't enjoy any shooters at this point that don't have some sort of head or eye tracking support. this experience has got to be totally next level ha ha

I know in a real life situation, its smart to put 1 or 2 more rounds in a body when you come across one just to make sure theyre dead, but does this game actually have that programmed? Like, can an enemy appear to be dead, but get up again and shoot you in the back?
Got into VR a week ago with ACE and Tactical assault. I don’t really get VR Sickness, but I can’t seem to get over the curve of moving with a stick. I always feel so clunky trying to get through thresholds.
I had this same problem back when I got into VR for the first time. I would get some motion sickness playing Onward. But after you get in and out a few times, the symptoms should ease off.
@@DitchDoctor943 oh, I pretty much have zero motion sickness. I just feel clumsy using a stick to move. Always bumping into in game walls, thresholds etc.

The graphics are actually great and only as good as the game would need to be, especially running on mobile hardware. Kind of like battlebit they just made the models decent enough (there’s actually plenty of detail, especially in the weapon models) and then focused on the game mechanics. The game could certainly benefit from a few things. The AI could be a bit tighter and quicker to react and do a bit more damage, as well as hide in more positions and places. It’d be cool if the room generator had a layout that was kind of a straight building with all the rooms, just to kind of streamline the way it feels. Not sure if it’s doable but having more AI when playing solo or with a group of 2-4 would be great as well. Also there needs to be a way to turn down the in game voice lines when the character is giving commands. Dude is yelling in my ear all the time. I guess another thing would be a sitting animation. Sometimes I like to sit down and camp in a bush or a building but my character can’t decide what he wants to do so I’m unable to reload without standing up to grab ammo.

Everything would be left to pure chance, AI wouldn't have horrid reaction times- killholes, etc. Someone could be turned around, and- just like real life, have a small but very much existing chance to flick around and dome you in a burst of fire. Have your barrel exposed around a door for a fraction of a second, and then suddenly dozens of rounds randomly go through the wall, yada yada. Think of the OG Ready Or Not AI, which whilst OP, were insanely fun for me atleast- since they provided a much better challenge in my opinion What I'm trying to say is that people want the top tier delta force realism, when in reality, the game would be dead within days. All the gameplay would be, realistically, throwing dozens of grenades every single room or slowly pying off a room and dying to some dude with an AK who just domed you from under a table with a cover- since he saw your barrel before you saw him, pointman nearly always getting shot atleast once if you don't use a handheld- doorkickers 2 does great in that regard, but even then you have the advantage of seeing the entire map (mods ofc) all cqb games that have taken off have some sort of element toned down for ease of use, whether ai or speed or something else shame sense i'd love a genuinely difficult, no mercy cqb game to try where AI have human reaction times and dont make moronic decisions in order for the players to feel tacticool
can someone tell me if the pcvr version or meta version is worth it more? Meta version only costs 8.90 but idk abt the difference in graphics cuz i coult technically run it on my pc

Onward is fucked. It was the reason I bought a VR and it was awesome. Then they went all Quest and downgraded the entire game.

i love this game, so jam packed full of content that i could do the same mission 5 times and not get bored.
The cool thing about VR is that the Dev doesnt need to make almost any of the Animation work, you do that

So long as you're not feeling sick, you'll get used to the movement. Just takes some time.

If you have PCVR, I would buy on PCVR. You can always play wirelessly with quest if you want.

Most operators don't talk as much when clearing. They rely on their team to have situational awareness.
