- As the Young Dolph murder trial continued on Wednesday, defendant Justin Johnson took the stand and revealed that he will not be testifying in his own defense. The state rested its case on Tuesday evening, and the defense is expected to rest on Thursday

Beloved rapper Young Dolph, real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee back in November 2021. Several suspects have been charged in connection with his death. One of them, Justin Johnson, aka Straight Drop, faces trial for the murder of the rapper. If convicted, Johnson could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
