You def play the light and dark fusion. Biggest weakness of branded is not having a lot of disruption on their end board compared to other high tiered decks, the light and dark instantly fixes that.
@@mando31338 Bad thing about LADD is that it auto-chains to literally everything so if you have to wait for all of it's negates to drain before you activate anything else, otherwise it'll negate your own stuff. And it gets in the way of some of your other cards too. The best example being Mercourrier; LADD will auto-chain to your opponents monster effects even after it's atk is below 1000 so until it leaves the field, you won't get to use Merc's negate
@ that makes it sound really bad now the fact it auto chains is a big negative without having a choice on what to negate I guess it’s not as efficient a disruption as I first thought
Yeah it's a mandatory effect, meaning you gotta make him after you've resolved all your stuff or your End Phase effects will go to waste by default, reducing your interruptions too. The mercourier issue is also a huge factor I dislike. But honestly? We do desperately need Spell/Trap disruptions man. I can't always Set Brightest Blazing Branded King from Deck and negate my own Cartesia / Quem / other face-up Fusions just to negate an Evenly Matched.
Tell that to fucking Labrynth, I don't think you will like it when Tenpai gets locked out of Synchro EVERY SINGLE TURN. I swear to god Labrynth is the worst thing Konami ever created
Same man, same. Never go over 40 cards, keeping it real with only like 1 or 2 garnets, in order to have as few brick hands as possible, I open like Branded Loss, Despian Tragedy, Albaz, Albaz, Branded Retribution going 1st. Then I run into a 60 cards player with Branded Fusion, Golden Sarcophagus, Grass, Branded Opening, Tragedy, ok game. Luck issue I guess.
@@eisbaer5011 It's a breath of fresh air playing a deck thats reliant on traps for all it's disruption, as compared to most other decks which usually rely on monster effects for their disruption. And the fact that Lab can make use of all the generic normal traps in the game is nice, especially since their some wonky traps out there like the funny Cannon. Also, lot's of the monster reliant decks struggle against backrow decks. Atm Yubel and (Pure) Snake-Eye have almost nothing to deal with backrow. All I can think of rn are Baronne, Chaos Angel, and Accesscode but if you have any set traps, you're probably not letting them get there, atleast not in one turn. I emphasize on how the deck can make any generic normal trap work, that means that even against something like Tenpai, which can clear backrow easy, we can still buy ourselves some time with stuff like D Barrier. And in a meta were a spell card deck like Runick were popular, we'd be able to use Eradicator Epidemic to give us a major advantage. And we have traps for dealing with unaffected/untargetable towers too. Just so much efficiency bro. And going +1000 just for removing a monster is crazy. Lab is just fun to play

It is the best trap heavy deck in the current meta, tough I think Eldlich is the most fun trap heavy archetype.
