Thanks Dr Sarah This was very insightful My question is: After self developing questionnaire i sent it to three different person.(and those whom i sent the questionaire to are within the agebracket and lives within the area of study) all there feedback and correction was applied before i finally distributed the questionnaire to the targetted respondent. My question now is how do i report this in my Research paper. Looking forward for your feedback thanks.

Pilot study is to evaluate the feasibility of your study in a small scale study; pre-testing of survey questionnaire aims to assess whether the target sample of your study understands the statement in each of your questionnaire items. The feedback from the respondents in the pre-testing will help in revising/editing the question items of your research instrument.

Do we have to compute for the result or just state in your research paper that you made some revisions because some of the respondents provided some feedback about the questionnaire. Pwede..... pero the respondents of the pilot study should not be included in the actual study.

Reliability as well as validity of the research instrument is VERY important.
