  • Sons of the Pioneers perform "Tumbling Tumbleweeds," one of their most-treasured contributions to western music, written by founding member Bob Nolan. This performance was filmed live on the Grand Country Music Hall stage in April 2022 for the syndicated TV show "Branson Country USA."
Sons of the Pioneers are (left to right): Ken Lattimore (tenor vocal), John Fullerton (baritone vocal, rhythm guitar), Roy "Dusty" Rogers, Jr. (lead vocal), Tommy Nallie (lead guitar), Paul Elliott (fiddle), and Chuck Ervin (string bass).

The good news is that the group is still going strong-87 years and counting-staying true to those same unique harmonies. Check out www.sonsofthepioneers.org for the Sons of the Pioneers touring schedule (we're doing a string of sold-out shows in and around Tucson starting tonight) or if you'd like to get our brand-new album on CD, "Red River Valley," or to find out more about the group. Happy Trails!

Maybe grandsons or soon, great grandsons of the pioneers would be more appropriate 😂

I have loved this group for over 60 years, and I have seen them several times. I am especially glad that I got to see them 3 times with Dusty before he retired.
