AN OBSERVATION:
I've been around the block, men have to think like a woman (and the reverse) when photographing women. In short, I've learned that most women would want to see the entire neckless. or the sitter could've chosen a different necklace based on the crop of the headshot. The same applies to SHOES.
The man with the plan.
Impressive use of one light . Which is right up my ally . I’m trying to figure out the minimum amount of gear to travel all over with when this zombie apocalypse subsides .
Thanks
SUPER. SUPER ,

What a amazing session..... Plz mention the name of this photographer in the description .....
Hey. What is that extension arm you are using. I can’t get my c stand off to the side because my 40” extension just rotates with weight of softbox. Thanks.
He’s using a Matthews Mini Boom Arm.
You can fix your issue by simply buying a baby pin to mount into the gobo head of your Cstand arm. You’re not supposed to mount a light on the bare rod end of the Cstand. You lose range of motion doing that.
Baby pin in the gobo head is the answer.
What brand of boom is it?
who in the good lard picked that outfit? LoL my native american ancestors are laughing in their graves. lol
Cool. Ignore the junk.
I love Grimes but Jesus he works too damn fast.
Beautiful cheeks. I need to get my cheeks like that!!,
I don’t understand why in studios they are using a big expensive strobe but it’s NOT HSS !!!
what is the benefit of using it when you can’t go above 1/200 sec !!! Then why you need all that power for !! It force you to go to f7-f11
Try using a smaller one ( like ad200 ) and step down the aperture to f2.8 or f2 and that’s it
These old ways ( before the HSS ) where really confused me when I started photography
Larger the light source softer the light. They shoot at closed aperture to ensure both eyes and details of design of clothing are in focus as well
@@aaronjonellhall1937 f3.5 or f4 is more than enough to keep the subject all in focus
Even though, get a ad400 and it’s more than enough power and it’s at least a HSS
Because with giant non HSS strobe your are forced to go to f7 and above to get the right exposure than just raising the shutter speed
@@zaidmuscle80 You need to study inverse square law.
@@travelingaround7391 hahaha 🤣 you funny lool ok
I have 2 photography awards and i teach photography
But it seems that you guys just don’t use your brain, just copies what ever the says and you don’t try by your self
Again, using strobes like that will limit your shutter speed to under 1/200 or lower and it force you to work with that
Did you get it smart boy
@@aaronjonellhall1937 practice by your self before you just copy what they say
The inverse law is not always accurate
If you already HAVE the Shot, why keep shooting the same shot? Not Professional. If you are making adjustments, great, do another shot... .but shot and shot and shot of no change.... just silly
The model is changing her facial expression each time, but very minimal, and thus it is NOT the same shot 🤦🏾♂️
