Deffo makes me wanna watch Kidulthood & adulthood again. Unfortunately I think he's guilty of some of the allegations but you cannot deny his vision & talent for scriptwriting, acting, directing. The BAFTA was well deserved but two things can be true, and arrogance is his middle name. The insightful questioning was clear and well thought out.

He was unfriendly, rude and unkind to a lot of people. Maybe he was dropped cos 20 indapendant allegations was the tip of the ice berg. 1 allegation is meh, 5 is red flag, 10 is serious, 20 is a kinda too obvious to deny.
Would you employ/fire someone to your business if 20 indapendant people made these allegations against them?
No business has to associate with anyone who is bringing them bad press and ruining their reputation, contractually.
If you punch me one day in a park with no CCTV. Then theres clearly no evidence for police to investigate. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna call up your boss and tell them. Regardless if you're an actor or work in McDonalds, you can get fired for bad reputation. One allegation is not enough but If it happens 20 times then I think the boss at McDonald's will fire the worker. U have to be naive to flatout believe him, use some logic in your judgment

I am inclined to believe his take on Adam Deacon. He harps on about it for 20 minutes solid.
The sexual allegations, where he gives one word denials and tries, successfully, to deflect... Not so much.
He has been allowed to control the narrative throughout this one.
Hopeful James English can do a better job holding him to account in his podcast.

I’m of the opinion that he doesn’t say anything with conviction, he’s not angry at the accusers or the industry or the media nor does he try to offer any advice to people who might find themselves in a similar situation. Hes not trying to expose the dangers of false accusations. He’s basically saying it’s just banter. I think he’s been treated with kiddy gloves here, you need to hold their feet to the fire and let them know this kind of thing is not acceptable

I've loved movies and films my whole life. And it has always been an aspiration of mine to create and get into the industry.
However, I know myself and I know that I would be the same way. If it was up to me, I would just do my work and go home at the end of the day. Not make friends and go for drinks etc.
I love to create, but I'm not needlessly social. I hate the fact that it can be seen as stand offish or would help profile you as a bad person.

I agree with Noel!!. The same is happening to me now. I am a head of department and managing another black woman. She kisses her teeth in my meetings and walks out, spreads rumours about me at work and discredits my work. She does not do this to other people who work there but only to me the other black woman. I have complained and nothing happens. Its like they are sitting back watching us fight. I found out yesterday my job has been advertised for a replacement without my knowledge. She got what she wanted. I am now at home refusing to go back until i have an explanation. So now i have no job because of this woman. She hated the fact a black woman was managing her. We keep tearing each other down i dont know why

Great conversation; I had no idea he was so reserved. People talk too much, after all. The cancellation of Noel has led to the cancellation of many other people, but despite this, the new strategy should be to forge your own path rather than attempting to fit into someone else's world, as is the case with Wiley. Noel doesn't have a job, isn't on Bulletproof. Things like Fresh Prince of Bel Air, my wife and kids or ever URL Ultimate Rap League.. things that break barriers are not to be seen, now people who do pointiness things are leading the way. I observed the same thing when digga d was being attacked when central cee was being praised. As if there weren't enough spaces, people said, "Create your own world out of nothing with people who respect you." attempting to live in someone else's dark reality... Noal sees this as a bad thing but i'm sure this has brought the family together and showed the true reality of people, most of us can not see what is around us, if we did life would be like noels, great interview
