I sometimes grab the enemie's shield (if the have one) and drag down with the grappling hand as i walk backwards. Then i simply let go, it trips them very often.
Grappling in medium or heavy armor is great fun. Grabbing them by the faceplate with your right hand, with a mace or hammer in your left hand, and reef down and around to the left and once they are on their back, move over them so they are on your left, and just wailing in their legs until they submit or their legs break. You can take shots at the helmet but their head is usually kinda close while you're holding their face.
I’m glad I’m not the only dumb crazy person to decide to grapple in this game. Full knight armor and judo is dangerously in this game 😂 “”Kibisu gaeshi””kinda and “”Seoi nage”” kinda is definitely possible in this game don’t ask how long it took tho

If you want to experiment with swords and spears (I experienced with a bardiche) where I was thrown and threw the opponents with their momentum with the guiding of the weapon (or it was a takedown and/or sweep) Edit: you can completely flip the opponent with a long sword, can’t nail it yet. 2nd Edit you can also go head against another opponent’s force and since the half sword favors certain joint movements and let go to propel the opponent forward and away for some cool effects, might be able to do with teammates

I like to throw the greatsword, so idk about the candlestick but I find winding up all the way to the side and using almost straight horizontal mouse movement helps.

I find having your hands closer together helps, and grabbing parts that don't move much. If you grab limbs, the other guy moving his limbs pulls your hands apart and breaks your grip. There's at least a little bit of luck involved.
Maybe. I used shift for bursts of speed, and used punches to position my hands for grabbing specific parts. What else would you hope to find in a guide?

Bodylock in fist play? It's a bug, the physics sometimes go wild when you grab around the hips or butt.
