I don't want to offend someone who like me enjoyed the 2003 version of the Music Man but I think this was better than when Kristin did the song with Matthew Broderick in the movie. You Go Girl
Honestly, my only complaint with the 2003 version, was Matthew Broderick. The fact that they felt he was the equal of Robert Preston, preposterous. Admittedly, I grew up with the Shirley Jones/Robert Preston version, so I am biased.
@@Isildun9 - The 1962 movie version is hard to beat. I love it. But I won't blame Matthew Broderick . He didn't cast the movie . A guy's gotta work , y'know ? A very talented man, but not right for this role at all. And , damn, who would want to follow up Robert Preston ?! (the whole 2003 version is pretty much a train wreck, imo) . Blame the casting director and the producers.

Have you seen some of her interviews? Or read her book? She's very humble; however, she knows that she's good. I mean, her voice can do just about anything. There will always be people who disagree but I hope that you might check out some more stuff on her because I think she's amazing. I'm proud to call myself a fan. :)
