Here we go again with center position so here. This is what i think. if u have watched them in MTG, Jimin is most suitable for center position while Boeun for visual. Boeun that time she got the least screentime and even lines. She's more popular in Jimin especially in international but that time Jimin is most talked to become the center of the group. She has that center vibe that even non Jimin stans can't deny this. If Boeun just have more lines in mtg i think we will get to see her more of her but it didn't happen. She still shines tho but it's not enough if i will compare her to Jimin. I can't really explain but Jimin has that vibe as the center. Plus that she ranked first. If i remember, after they announced the final lineup everyone's is satisfied especially Jimin as their center. They didn't even questioned her rank being rank 7 to rank 1. This center issue has started when M25 forgot Jimin as their center. They questioned them how unfair it is to Jimin who rank first and they added more fuel about their costumes (dream concert). Jimin stans are mad with the company and not with boeun. But Boeun stans are KINDA toxic how they handle this kind of situation. They started blaming Jimin itself and started questioning her as their center. But now we get to see more of Boeun and i can't deny she can also be the face of the group/center. She's the stan attractor of the group. Idk tho this center position is frustrating me.
When most of people thought Hyungseo gonna be leader predebut but then it's Hyeju which turn out to be perfect decision since she basically in between maknaeline and unnieline and could be the bridge also since CLASS:y focus on performance so Hyeju as leader really make sense.
Yeahh. But after that time Hyeju led the mafia in the morning team I really thought that she was leader material and if she does end up debuting , that she would definitely be the leader. So actually until that I never thought about any other girl who could possibly become the leader. It was just Hyeju and well she ended up being the leader 😂. Don't get me wrong seing all of their interviews apart from the intro hyungseo does most the things a leader should do , maybe because hyeju is a introvert but i think hyungseo should've really been the leader and hyeju be the dance leader like weeekly has , even watch their idol radio shows whenever they asked something everyone was looking at each other's face but hyungseo was the one who broke the silence and answered it when in reality it should've been hyeju .
Classy needs better promotion, le sserafim needs better mkt team, kep1er needs better songs and nj needs a better ceo lol. It really suck for classy to debut under kbs tho

I think Jimin was the center for My Teenage Girl. Boeun is the center of CLASS:Y. Both of them are center material tho. Maybe someday Jimin would suddenly trend and she would actually get more center time in their promotions. But as of now Boeun is the strategic center since as many call her, she is one of the most prominent stan attractor of the group :)

Everyone agrees that if Mnet really wants Class:Y to be more famous they need to use Boeun more cuz she has the most international fans, of course all the gurls are amazing but if you don't use their popularity and instead be stingy then that's really sad and ironic. For example, Ningning and Giselle are extremely popular in USA and international fanbase, SM should definitely use their popularity to gain more international recognition. Of course Karina is very popular in both market and has strong korean fanbase, but gor overseas fans they need to use their popularity. Same how Yuta, Johnny and Mark helped NCT to gain a strong fanbase overseas. They need to strategize in order to make Class:y more popular, let hyeju cover other songs, let chaewon cocer Taeyeon and other vocalists songs, let Boeun show up more!!!
It's not mnet survival show its mbc survival show. If we will go back in MTG era Yooyeon has been the face of MTG/visual since the start of the show until the end. Boeun that time is not really popular (if i will based of her rank since the start Seonyou&chaewon are more popular than her). They really did her dirty. They're both great and idm having 2 centers in a group of 7 like how jungkook is the official center but jimin(bts) has almost equal lines and center as jk or even times when he has more center times. Ok so let me clear this up for the people stating their opinion on what Class:y's positions should be. - you CANNOT just hand out the visual position as if it's candy. the visual position follows the kbs(korean beauty standards) which includes double eyelids, height above 165cm, golden ratio etc. which the members that you guys have given the position don't fit(all the members are stunning in their own way btw)but yeah, whoever fits or has the highest percentage can be the visual. - same goes with Main Vocalist, You CANNOT just give it out to whoever you want. sure, every member in class:y are powerful vocalist, but when it comes to skill, technique etc. Chaewon definitely dominates the position

Hong Hyeju is one of the only ones not listed as having been a visual in either positions & I have no idea how. She is absolutely breathtakingly beautoful!beautiful! I feel like she & Boeun are both the most impressive visuals in tge group, in my opinion. But tbh - I think kpop should do away entirely with the "visual" position. I feel now thats kpop has become such an international genre, having specific Korean beauty standards isn't super important. Plus, ranking one member as "you, you are the most beautiful & attractive. We will make that very important. Forget your talent. You are now no more than a spectacle of beauty." seems so disrespectful to the artist called visual, as well as other members of a group that are often equally or more attractive, just not necessarily by k-beaury standards. It seems so outdated in the world we now live in to have focusing on looks, to the point of assigning titles within a group regarding level of beauty, still be a thing. I think giving positions to members at all is extremely dated & unnecessary. It's baffling how anyone can say this or that member is a better choice for center than Jimin. Like guys, come on, if it's Hyeju or Hyungseo it's understandable... but, be honest. You know Jimin fits being center THE MOST. One simply does not get praised by a Girls Generation member at auditions for being a perfect center and it's simply how the show ended- with her at #1. The real problem here is M25 being absolutely biased that they prefer putting Boeun in the spotlight in every chance they get even if Jimin is the RIGHTFUL, OFFICIAL, and ONLY center in the group. It pains me to see how she went from gleefully introducing herself as "CLASS:y's center, Won Jimin" to just "CLASS:y's Won Jimin" while M25 shoves Boeun right into the center at all times and gives her outfit colors that contrast everyone else's. You can see how different CLASS:y treats their "center" to other groups like IVE (Wonyoung), IZ*ONE (Wonyoung again), and Kep1er (Chaehyun). At this point, I would be understanding of their choice if their obvious bias with Boeun did any significant effect but where is CLASS:y now? Did Boeun become an "it girl"? Did the group become as big as the other new groups they debuted at the same year with i.e. NMIXX, Billlie, Le Sserafim, NewJeans? They only did it to further their own favorite member and feed solo fans' toxic mentalities. Embarrassing.
I don't think Kep1er is a good example for this, they never had an official center even though Chaehyun won the first place. She's treated as a main vocalist and gets the most lines, but the killing parts and most center distribution goes to Xiaoting. Almost all her lines in Wadada were killing parts, she started the song, and was in the center of the dance break. Yeseo _might_ be a co center since she got more killing parts in Up, and started the song.
For me the center should be boeun like she's always at the center and i don't see jimin as center often just two three times meanwhile i see boeun as center EVERYTIME also i would like to say that boeun really have center aura than jimin (my opinion)

@@stickywater3728 well hello this is a kpop group and if you were to assign positions to the members you should be basing it on KBS, which is a standard. just like you can't give the main vocalist/dancer/rapper position to someone because you PREFER their vocals/dance/rapping over someone else who is more suitable for the main positions by technique, you shouldn't be giving out visual positions on preference

Hong Hyeju is one of the only ones not listed as having been a visual in either positions & I have no idea how. She is absolutely breathtakingly beautoful!beautiful! I feel like she & Boeun are both the most impressive visuals in tge group, in my opinion.
But tbh - I think kpop should do away entirely with the "visual" position. I feel now thats kpop has become such an international genre, having specific Korean beauty standards isn't super important. Plus, ranking one member as "you, you are the most beautiful & attractive. We will make that very important. Forget your talent. You are now no more than a spectacle of beauty." seems so disrespectful to the artist called visual, as well as other members of a group that are often equally or more attractive, just not necessarily by k-beaury standards. It seems so outdated in the world we now live in to have focusing on looks, to the point of assigning titles within a group regarding level of beauty, still be a thing.
I think giving positions to members at all is extremely dated & unnecessary. It results in the idols getting boxed in by the industry & by the public & never really being able to show how diverse they truly are, but I will save that explanation for another day.

Hyungseo is good at public speaking and sharing opinions. And hyeju is good at managing members. Hyungseo can be co leader

It's baffling how anyone can say this or that member is a better choice for center than Jimin. Like guys, come on, if it's Hyeju or Hyungseo it's understandable... but, be honest. You know Jimin fits being center THE MOST. One simply does not get praised by a Girls Generation member at auditions for being a perfect center and it's simply how the show ended- with her at #1.
The real problem here is M25 being absolutely biased that they prefer putting Boeun in the spotlight in every chance they get even if Jimin is the RIGHTFUL, OFFICIAL, and ONLY center in the group. It pains me to see how she went from gleefully introducing herself as "CLASS:y's center, Won Jimin" to just "CLASS:y's Won Jimin" while M25 shoves Boeun right into the center at all times and gives her outfit colors that contrast everyone else's. You can see how different CLASS:y treats their "center" to other groups like IVE (Wonyoung), IZ*ONE (Wonyoung again), and Kep1er (Chaehyun).
At this point, I would be understanding of their choice if their obvious bias with Boeun did any significant effect but where is CLASS:y now? Did Boeun become an "it girl"? Did the group become as big as the other new groups they debuted at the same year with i.e. NMIXX, Billlie, Le Sserafim, NewJeans? They only did it to further their own favorite member and feed solo fans' toxic mentalities. Embarrassing.
I don't think Kep1er is a good example for this, they never had an official center even though Chaehyun won the first place. She's treated as a main vocalist and gets the most lines, but the killing parts and most center distribution goes to Xiaoting. Almost all her lines in Wadada were killing parts, she started the song, and was in the center of the dance break. Yeseo _might_ be a co center since she got more killing parts in Up, and started the song.
boeun is able to attract more attention than jimin. she has so much more fans for a reason
