it's honestly quite funny how people are more confused about the name Drawfee which is pretty obviously a combo of Draw(ing) and Coffee but the one character that has to be in every stream and has never been explained is somehow never asked about

I was laugh-crying and cry-laughing for five minutes during the "Knuckles? Sonic." bit.
"What's the point of watching us" Jacob says, as tears stream down my face from laughter. Look, it's been a hard week- and I needed that laugh. That's why.
I'm learning to do ASL interpreting, and I pulled this video up just for some practice interpreting. I fingerspelled "piss" so many times. So, thank you for that.

Whenever I fool myself into believing that I am the exception from 3 years of watching Drawfee's worth of brain chemistry alteration, there are moments like Sonic? Knuckles. that shouldn't make me laugh so hard but *do* which remind me that, no, I am not. Nobody ever is.
For the record, I found Drawfee less than a year ago and I immediately understood the name and logo. I get very confused when people question it haha
My first ever video was a beans about... 5 years ago? I think? Mighta been seven but drawfee beans is a lot easier to parse than just drawfee so thats how I got it

I've never empathized more with Julia than having stress induced hives. In 2018 I had full body hives for the whole year. My body went "NOPE STOP USING ME" and suddenly made me allergic to medication to help the hives and SNOW. DURING WINTER. I would have to go to the ER cause my mouth would swell. It was god awful, and I'm happy Julia has a support system around her.
Nathan always reminds me of my younger brother, they look alike and their humour is very similar too. My brother also has friend energy and years ago found my old bad art from when I was a smol and started to really get into digital art. I don't get to see my brother much anymore so it makes me happy to see Nathan, and when me and bro DO see each other we can be utterly incomprehensible talking about Drawfee nonsense together.
I just realized that the Drawfee gang is the Scooby Doo crew.

Karina's "last three panels" is exactly what I thought it was going to be. Well, not exactly. I thought it was going to be a guy holding the flashlight and asking "Sonic?" in panel 2. Panel 3 would be him tiredly responding "knuckles..." and panel 4 would just be the flashlight guy looking out at us as if saying 'There. Did you like that?'

Nathan, if you want to watch season 7&8 of Poirot you may want to check your library. They may have them on DVD to borrow. And even if your branch doesn’t another branch almost certainly does (I mean, you are in New York). Likely you won’t even have to go to the other branch, they will be able to get it sent to your branch. If you don’t have a library card, bring a driver’s license- oh wait. You don’t have one do you😜? Any piece of mail to prove you’re a resident should do. Also, I really recommend the books. They are really fun!

I started watching Drawfee post Caldwell and pre Karina, and I understood that it was the morning Drawfee. Because it was during that era that the internet wasn't quite everywhere yet.
I love when cats come hang out just bc a bunch of the people they like are in one area. If my family is in the living room, my cat (eldest of 3) sits on the wicker stools in the center of the room and just looks at all of us. He's just hanging out! Spending some quality time with the family!
I wished that their streaming schedule didn't conflict with my work schedule so horribly I would love to be in the chat for one
Ironically I DID leave immediately at 49:20, but only because I couldn't stay awake anymore. I regret not having stayed for the rest of it 👌🥇

Remember, once you get burnout, you've been burning for a long time already. Please stop burning your body and mind to make up for the fact that you have more work than time. Something needs to change. This is not college, where you spend an all-nighter to get an assignment done. This is life. Everyday is assignment day, and you can't keep all-nighting it.
Do less work, assign more time for the work (so do less in the same time frame), delegate some of the work to some of the other Drawfee people, hire an extra person to do some of the work.
You'll feel guilty and restless, you won't know what to do with all that time that suddenly seems to lay out so empty in front of you. That's your body telling you that you need to do everything in your power to survive this draught, escape this war, solve this famine.
Because that's what your body is thinking must be happening, with all those stress hormones in your body and no sign of rest or calm anywhere. You're in survival mode. And that's no way to live your life by default. Chronic stress (plus all its companions like chronic malnutrition, chronic insomnia, chronic (mental) health issues) ruins your body and mind. It literally burns up resources your body needs to function in the long run, let alone thrive.
And that can't be fixed with taking it easy for a weekend. It requires restructuring your life completely. And slow down hard. Ideally, you take everything off your plate. But since that probably won't be possible since you are an independent working in the US, at least start with an empty plate and just add one thing. The must-do thing. See how that goes. Then, veeeery slowly, add one more. If you feel that all that work you're not doing will ruin the lives of all those people around you, I hope it makes you realize that it is for sure ruining the life of that one you.
Once you force yourself to slow down, it will take a very long time to reset to normal mode. I'm not talking months here. It will take way longer. Getting help from a good coach will help, because they can recognize and call out those excuses your mind will make up to get back into survival mode. They will also help you slowly fill those 'empty' hours with things like sleep, relaxation, social interactions. You know, life that is not work.
As someone who was like this in her 20s and 30s, I really want to warn you this can't go on forever. You are not a limitless resource. I'm paying so hard for this in my 40s. Please don't end up like me.
Read Karina's comic on burnout. You feel both tired and wired, and cannot stop working. That is literally one of the criteria of burnout. Not being able to listen to the people around you that something is going wrong is also one of the hallmarks of burnout.
I know you have too much to do to slow down. I know you are strong and you can do it. I know everybody else doesn't understand because you have a plan and it'll be fine. I know you go crazy when you don't work. I know that you know but really you can't. But please, please, please. Listen to the people around you. You are not fine, and something needs to change.
Not sleeping for three nights in a row and breaking out in hives should not be a regular occurrence. It should be a clear and loud warning signal. That it is not, shows that you are burning very hard.
Nothing brings me greater joy than "You got Knuckles in my Sonic!" followed by "You got Sonic in my Knuckles" (47:19)

the solution for the echo problem: download blackhole and set up the multiple inputs that your audiobox generates as one input, use that one you created as the only input for streamlabs

Risk is a bad game.
This isn't even the issue games like Monopoly have where people don't know the actual rules and houserule a worse game.
The game has no turn limit, no endgame unless a player has conquered every single territory.
Only a single player can win. Everyone else loses. The game lasts eons and is insufferable the second one player has an advantage because once you control a majority of territory you will snowball into inevitable victory.
There is a better, equally affordable game for every facet of Risk that someone might enjoy:
If you like conquering territory with many players involved, play Small World.
If you like the mind games and grand strategy in an otherwise minimalistic game, play Battle for Rokugan.
If you like the intensity of a historic battle across the real world with back-and-forth power struggles, play Twilight Struggle.
If you want to have a terribly tedious waste of time at a table where no one gets to leave feeling satisfied, play Risk.

This was the first stream I ever caught live. I don’t keep up with their twitter, I’m not on discord, I hadn’t watched Drawtectives at that stage, I ignored the merch announcement because I can’t afford merch. So you can imagine my absolute confusion when I walked in at the start of the stream, Drawfin hadn’t even started yet, and everyone in chat was screaming and chanting piss. I just… kinda assumed it was a stream joke that I didn’t know about and joined in. It was only after the pissboy merch reminder that I realised what chat was on about. Even then, I didn’t understand why a cat-York plushie was a thing and why it was called Pissboy. I’ve since educated myself lol
You should do an episode where everyone draws a panel for a 4 panel comic, and the other person has to draw the other 3 panels
