Fun fact. When I was a kid and watched Star Wars, they would translate Chewbacca's name in the subtitles instead of just keeping it as is. Someone was proud for recognizing it was derived from chewing tobacco, I guess. So he was named Pruimtabak, the Dutch word for chewing tobacco. Which is bad enough. But then when he was called Chewie, they shortened that to Pruimpje. Which isn't just a (made-up) cutesy version of chewing tobacco, but means little plum. Plummie. So Chewbacca was mostly addressed as Plummie in the old Dutch version of Star Wars. So metal.

In spanish we had the same "issue". Chewbacca was called Mascatabaco, literal translation of chewing tobacco. But the funniest name in the spanish translation was actually R2-D2. His name was translated to Arturito meaning little Arthur. Generations called him Arturito or Artu.

@@Mystery-Wolf neurodivergent is a term used for someone whose brain (neuro) is a "divergence" from the typical healthy brain, in the way that it functions. This just means it has to do with mental health. Someone who is naturally mentally healthy would be "neurotypical" which is the opposite of neurodivergent. :)

Gonna throw out a controversial opinion... When Karina first became a member of Drawfee i was skeptical. I wasnt sure i was gonna like it and just missed it just being Nathan, Jacob and Julia. In a sense the balance was initially thrown off by this new person...
HOWEVER.
I knew it was just me reacting to a change to something i love and cherish deeply so after trusting that you guys will do whats right for the channel i tried my best to push bias aside and Karina has grown enormously on me over the years. I love her commentary and art style and she really feels like she's been here all along. A perfect fit and addition to the cast. I know this is late said but i just came to think of it now when watching that "huh.. remember there was a time i was unsure about this..".
So Karina, or any other Drawfee member, should you happen to stumble upon this comment i wanna say:
Sorry for the initial bias against you. You bring a very special energy to each episode and stream that adds to the already fun mood and a vibe that no other person could replicate. Drawfee wouldnt be the same anymore without any one of you.

As far as I know, L'Engle is often spoken as "leengle" but I think it's supposed to be "langle" (rhyme with angle) - at any rate i think it means "the angel" - it's a pen name for sure - didn't look this up but I've read all her books and a biography of her in the past and I think Madeleine was chosen bc the etymology of it is from mary magdalen who was a religious figure she loved and admired, while l'Engel is bc she's obsessed with angels - she even has a biblically accurate angel as a character in her sequel to a wrinkle in time ("a wind in the door") along with a microscopic sub-cellular organism who lives in a mitochondria but is also a major character, somehow - she was a devout but progressive Christian who made conservative Christians mad with her liberal theology and acceptance of evolution and the big bang theory. Despite this she was born pre-1945 I think, so it is not surprising that she passed away some years ago.

I stopped watching Drawfee altogether for awhile and didn't really know why, but having just watched this, I think it's because I got so depressed in that time that I actively hated happiness. When someone gets that low about the state of things, all that can cheer them up is complete silly nonsense with no relation to those things, so - thanks, Drawfs. Turns out this was exactly what I needed to bring back my smile.
