This is the best band I have heard for years. The riffs are not from this world. The keyboard parts are awesome too. This music sends you to another world...I love it.
The Ladbrokes ad at 5:55 really adds to the atmosphere and ambiance.

ISIS and Cult Of Luna are proud of their baby! This band is what I needed. Finally an artist who is consistent, and just puts out good fucking music! Love this band
DVNE is beautiful. Unlike some of their genre counterparts (Mastodon,....), there are breaks that remind me of Tool when bass-led. Love the complexity, the heaviness, the enjoyable nature of this record. Listening leaves me feeling upbeat and positive. Thank you, DVNE.

All the songs they released leading up to the album are insanely good. Does anyone know what tuning they use for this song/will be using for the album?
I saw a playthrough with Victor where he said they tuned their guitars to G# G# D# F# A# D# on Towers. Pretty sure they use this tuning on most of the songs on the Etemen Ænka.

@@angelusbellum8166 you're never too told! I find vocalists of all types, literally all types, to be contextual to the music. Sometimes I just don't prefer the types of vocals to the music, and that's okay...not every band for every person!

Words are arbitrary, but using titles, like Dune, The Devil Wears Prada or Of Mice and Men, for example...it's just lazy.

I'm surprised they were able to use the name without a lawsuit. And wtf is Dune-themed? Most themes are general ideas based on the lore of the era or some representation of a story, i.e. Viking metal, Wizard metal. Even Harry and the Potters didn't just straight up name themselves after the book series. Can I start a Lord of the Rings themed band and call it Lord of the Rings? Smh
