I personally love the bombling Mech.. but only with this squad.
It gives you something to swap at the exact position you need it. It can block spawning Vec and it enables your piercing mech to shoot through it to do damage where you want to do damage. The fact that they can explode is just a bonus for me tbh.
Yea it has so much utility with both of the other units. They just work so well together
And with prospero's ability activated paired with the weapon's upgrade, you could literally just block up to 4 spawn tiles per turn

If you want to see something nuts, put Silica into the bomber mech. If you can get him in the right spots, you can be chunking out 4 bombs every turn and use them to block spawns. Basically, the bad guys never get a turn. I’ve used all the squads, and this is the strongest squad in the game, once you know how to use them.

OH MY GOD. I like the bombermech, but I was today years old when I learned that the bombs have movement. WHAT?
You could have healed the dead mechs to full with teleport. The bomber mech is awesome when you understand the may many synergies with the brute and the teleporter. You can even have self-destruct and heal to full with teleport. This is my favorite squad in the game right now.
It’s funny you call the bomber mech the worst in the game. He’s one of my favorites. My first 3 cores get his double bomb. You can use the bombs to block spawns, to swap with enemies using the swap mech. You can use them to shoot through with that cannon weapon that has to pass through something. You can use them to secure time pods and the hidden beacons. They’re incredibly useful.

Thought the bomber mech were a real head scratcher too haha bit too much. I tried the Arachnophiles next and found them challenging but super fun and strong once upgraded a bunch.
All the new mechs made my head hurt, but I love em.
Bombermechs are my absolute favorite. Swapping gives so many options and every mech works so well togther. Ive nearly gotten through hard mode without taking any hits (and i shouldve i just did a dumb)

Bombling mech is so good for blocking spawns, swapping out, making sth for the pierce laser. The damage is just a sweet lil thing on top, youre not supposed to use it much. Its like complaining if the science fellows deal like 1 damage only to vek

Could you make updates to your old guides (or a new guide video for the AE stuff specifically) please? While the old vids are great and generally hold up, I think enough has changed to warrant it.
The best team so far with Pierce Mech as the main damage dealer, and Exchange making enemies become where you want, you own the board basically. Bombling Mech can support in many ways as a blocking for Veks, additional damage or support Unit for Pierce Mech or Exchange Mech.

not a fan of the really dogshit hard cuts. watching the tactical aspect and then it cuts to a completely different section of combat with no idea how it played out. fire the editor pls.
