why is it so stiff?? my dads boat has rock hard steering on the 280 leg
Hi, that was because nylon/plastic bush holding it all together run out of grease over time.. apparently you have to grease it every season through a greasing nipple.
the boat has very low ratio steering but its been greased its kind hard out of the water out of gear but in forward or reverse its rock hard steering
