I have to think mine may have ground or wiring break because this trick uses to work and now it tries to turn off but pops right back on so that's what I'm wondering
MG B I was getting a code relating to the turbine sensor 2 inside the valve body. Subaru recommend a new valve body at $3-5k so I did some digging. Turns out the turbine sensor can be purchased separately and replaced. All up, I spend $140 on the sensor and $350 for someone to fit it.
@@mrgnluke Ok because I have a similar issue with my 2014 Subaru Forester. I have the code P0971 Pressure Control Solenoid. The dealership told me that I should replace my CVT or The valve body. 10000$ for a new CVT or between 1500-2000 valve body.I was wondering if I can find a solution like yourself.

MG B CVT is different. My GT had a proper 5 speed auto. You may have to do research specific to the CVT for yours sorry.
