Every Rockstar studios game since GTA 3 had to be delayed and the delay lengths have only grown over the last 20 years. GTA 6 will probably drop in 2 years.

its long time away to april 2025 which is 13 months so they employees has plenty of time to finish working on story,mechanics,world map,bug fixes,testing, etc. if gets a delay it won"t be more then 5 months max, take their time without rushing it will be great. btw Rockstar is still aiming for a release window next year they haven"t changed their schedule.
