Volvo FH Electric Truck Travels Longest Distance In Australia

On the 6th of November 2023, Volvo Group completed Australia's longest journey in an electric truck.
The Volvo FH Electric travelled a record-breaking 1,185 kilometres from Brisbane to Canberra as it delivered the Volvo FL Electric - Australia's first zero-emissions logistics vehicle for ACT Emergency Service Agency.
With recent changes to width and weight restrictions on Australia's roads, the maiden journey of the Volvo FH Electric highlights the possibilities of zero emissions and decarbonisation in the heavy transport industry.
