If I do start in the early AM I’ll drive to a Starbucks in Shadyside here in Pittsburgh to stage. On this shift I anticipated this especially on a Sunday with no Starbucks near by (other than downtown but not sure if they were open)

I love mornings I wake up 7am turn on uber eats and dd I usually get cracker barrel dunkin Starbucks. I quit around 1030 am head to gym then go back out 3-9. But I def dash from home in mornings. I'm in-between 2 Starbucks 4 dunkins and 3mile from Perkins Bob Evans eaten park cracker barrel. Everytimr I start brushing my teeth uber pings and I have to rush out lol. Tbh tho it's usually 50$ for 3 hours
4:30am-6:30am is peak coffee and bagels. At 7am I am walking the dogs, then back to work from 8-10am for more breakfast orders. I learned this on weekends in SD. Thanks for posting!
@@YourDriverMike I usually drive 7-about 1. I am in the austin area. We have another service here called Favor. I use this to pick up curbside groceries. I can keep them in the back of my vehicle while I make Uber or door dash runs on the way so it helps me stack orders more efficiently. Slow days is $25 hr. Busy days 40-50 and if I drive to down town austin ( I usually stay close to my home) about 30 minutes away I can really knock out some high dollar low mileage orders.
I actually really enjoy delivering in the morning, there is no traffic I can just drive in peace and when there is an order coming in I usually see it first because I'm probably one of the few dashers on the road at that time. In the evening when I go out it's horribly crowded on the roads and orders take a small eternity to be complete due to the restaurants being understaffed and extremely busy.
Early mornings are a mixed bag for me. I can sometimes get a lot of coffee orders and some breakfasts. It’s most often mid morning that’s the slowest for me, like 9-1130. During that time, I could be smack-dab in the middle of a huge hot spot and still not get anything for an hour.
It looks I’ve missed the boat in multi-apping here, unfortunately. I recently tried to sign up for GH and DD, but I got waitlisted for both. I should’ve signed up for them a year ago when I first started delivering. I don’t think there were as many people driving in my area back then.
I got CLE market but I don’t do downtown because my brain couldn’t handle that. I usually start between 9 and 10 and go til 3 or 4. I do other another job in the evening so I don’t dash at that time. I average just over $20 an hour which is fine for me.

These millenials... and it seems even a portion of my beloved generation x just insist on doing things at the very last second available. 7 am: most people are waking up after snoozing the alarm clock 11 times; 15 minute shower; 15 minutes to dress and sit on the edge of the bed; and 15 minutes to attempt to drive 27 miles to work. My point is all your customers are on the way to work. You have until at least 930 am to get ready to start delivering.
I live less than .5 miles from a McDonald's that absolutely pops for me in the morning cause everyone always hanging near the hot spot by Panera in the morning. I godown there no orders. Sit at my house and get orders that keep me busy lol
during the week, I drive JUST dinner rush. Made $37 today. Having to drive my little butt off to pay for a major car repair( ball joints are both bad and I need new shocks up front)

I think working at night order dinner rush is probably best unless it's the weekend I know Sundays are usually pretty good but getting up in the morning I don't leave my house until I get an order cuz sometimes it's not worth it
I'll do a walmart spark delivery first for that slow hr and then typically have an Uber showing up by then that I stacked after the Walmart order. Sometimes I'll take the Uber and Walmart delivery at the same time if it's the same direction. Never am I below 20 an hr.
Depending on your location, mornings are not that great in my area of Northern Va unless I go towards Arlington Va.. offers for pick ups are not that high, usually range from $ 4 to $ 8 dollars.
UE in the morning between 9 and 11. After that I see about 3 offers all day. We get some starbucks and mcd's breakfast orders. Dont live in a city like Pittsburg though so 30 min wait between orders is normal here. In the last week though I've gone from $150 a day to less than $50. GH is now my primary app with UE on the back burner to fill in
First we appreciate all the videos. In Nashville for example. Most mornings are a drag but can work for some. Weekend mornings are better than weekday mornings though. Less drivers, less people ordering but their are still orders. I would recommend this a perfect time for new drivers to start warming up & learning what to expect for afternoons and evenings. I have my own little hotspot that I go to in the mornings. I can pick up orders for 2 different starbucks locations, dennys, 3 other places that are like dennys, and a few fast food restaurants. The morning is not worth it if you dont know where to go to receive your orders. If it is just flat out dead, I will just hop onto another app.
24/7 is worst time to drive in Florida is it just me or is it embarrassing to deliver now lol …. Embarrassing to say you drive for an app or any app company because they are all crooked and everybody knows they don’t pay a deuce…we are second class if your working a job full time in America ……we are all just supposed to hope to be a ceo or a superstar otherwise struggle till you die is the American dream nowadays lols how about we all protest till regular people can make a living and take time off like 40 years ago wake up america

If I have a full off day from my full-time job on a weekday, I drive from 1130am to 2pm and then 430pm to 8pm. I do the same on Saturdays.

Depends on the morning. I find Friday mornings are good. You can get great large office orders on those days.

Not good on Monday, but if your areas good it’s less traffic better tips if you stay in your area

Sometimes. In my area DD does no orders until about 9:00 A.M. I might get one or at the most two orders by 12:00 Noon.
The mornings 7-9 are great in my market, back to back Starbucks orders that average about $8 for 20min and 2-4 miles
Breakfast is hit or miss. Weekdays people are ordering Starbucks.

I can go 1 hour before getting a call in the morning. I wait until 9:45. That is usually when calls start rolling in 😬
