- Vitality's Steam page is now live in anticipation for a Q4 2020 release! Check it out here: store.steampow... Hey guys, I just wanted to quickly show off a map I've put a lot of work into the past couple of days. Although we're not announcing anything proper yet, it's safe to expect an update video from us here on MantaGames in the near future. If you're wondering about Vitality, we will also be talking and making update videos on that soon in the near future. Remember, MantaGames is a team, and we have multiple projects up in the air at the same time! Anyway, have a great day.

Woah woah woah, wait.
THIS IS GAMEMAKER! You're a legend! :D
Amazin work dude! This shows what GameMaker is capable of! Great work guys!
Best 3D models I've seen from GameMaker. Amazing job! :)
Thanks!
Great job on this so far. I would love to see how the game turns out. I am an aspiring game creator, been programming for a few years and I really like what game maker has become.
this looks awesome!! I'm just getting started testing with 3D in gamemaker, I hope I can make something this well developed! great job!!
Wow this is really good. Some more texture work on a few things and adding some more flair here and there (Like trees and bushes), this would look amazing.
Wow, this is really great!! If you are still developing this, you should totally look up the FXAA shader on the marketplace, think it would to good use for you and look awesome. Also, it would be sweet if you could upload in 1080p, it looks really good. Or perhaps on Vimeo. I'd like to follow your project :)
Great graphics! This is the potential of GM.
Very nice, although dynamic shadows and weather would be cool
This is awesome! You should make a tutorial on how to do this.
WOW IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE HOW YOU DID IT I ASK YOU MAKE A TUTORIAL + NEW SUBS AND LIKE
Dude, I'd buy this :D
Great! What modelling program, and what are the file extensions for the models?
Can you enter any of the houses? Looks awesome by the way!
Sadly no, but I was however seriously considering it. I decided against it though because I figured for multiplayer that It may not play too good with these close quarter - tightly packed houses. This is just the first map of many I'm set to make, so I will for sure make some indoor action on one of the future maps!
Ah, I see. I have to say I'm quite impressed with what you've shown so far! The modeling and texturing looks pretty good so far, and so do the walking and aiming animations. Definitely looking forward to more videos on this project. Cheers!
Delicoms Yeah, this is a pretty early build of the game. I'm personally in control of the map making and gameplay decisions, while Michael, the other person working on this, is in charge of working out the engine and such. We'll be posting a proper update/announcement video soon which will touch on what this is and how things are going in general. (Vitality, etc.)
Hola Jared Me Gustaria que pases link pls
how do u do 3d in gamemaker
???
Nice ! Can you make something like GTA in 3D ?
He tried xD! But the map took too long to make, considering this map alone took like 20+ hours.
MishMash Perhaps you could experiment with procedural maps? Or using some sort of perlin noise for terrain, place some roads at random locations. Connect them, then place houses next to them.
You can give me gm file??? PLS
game maker studio cant make 3d can it?
It can... But it takes a lot of coding I don't know. :P
GoldenCatz It really does not take that much code. It more so relies on how exactly you do it in order to achieve the best performance. GMS is pretty powerful.
Oh, I want to make some 3d games. I just have not bothered to do it. If it really doesn't take that much coding, then I guess I should start trying to make a 3d game when I get the program down and I know what to do with it.
yeah the coding can be very simple or very complex, it all depends on how you want your game to be.
Most oldschool "3D" games such as Doom are done entirely 2 dimensional but the way the code is done makes the world feel 3d, its actually the same principle in newer 3d games, its all about how things look to the player to make them feel in a 3D world. i mean your monitor is only 2 dimensional right? ;)
